I enjoyed playing this game, but I was also humbled by it to. I found out that I am not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to my power of deduction. blush

Check out my review

It was a nice game indeed... I didn't find it boring at all. Let's now wait for the next one yes? grin

Nice review! I thought there were some real mind-benders in the game too.

This game actually as 3D movement that you can make using WASD keys, just like in the last Myst game, although the graphics here look different from that in Myst. The 3D movement will give some players motion sickness. It made me feel a bit giddy and I am not unfamiliar to 3D action games like shooters and RPGs.

I agree with you about the name. Sherlock's Nemesis is Moriarty, not Lupin.

I don't agree about the depiction of London being "too pristine" though. This is sort of a lighthearted game, so I don't find bright colors or a somewhat idealized appearance to be out of place.

Adding on to what I have said about the 3D movement:

First - you can move faster if your caps lock is on. This makes the movement more comfortable.

Secondly, I find that the motion sickness is gone after I have changed my display card from nVidia Geforce 8600GT to 9600GT. i know it's not much of an improvement, as I could have got a really fast one, like 6600, but the movement is now smooth enough for this game.
