Thanks hagatha - I do believe I will be able to follow that Next enchantress I see I'm going to see what I can do - of course I first need to see if I have any exquisite jewelry in my possession - I tend to either not pick those up or dump them somewhere. Hawka I have Vista so when I copied the instructions a clip screen came up and I could save as a PDF file or print from that. Worked like a little charm. If you want I can email you the file with the instructions so you can print it from that. Finished the Imperial Legion quests and I am now head honcho but you'd never know it. I'm still being told to "move along" by my underlings. They obviously have no respect for the office. Did get a very nice curiass (Lord's Mail) and a nifty two handed sword (Chrysamere) out of the deal - Now I'm doing my house quests. Had a bit of a scare when I accidentially ran into a vampire lair and contracted poly whatever disease. Quickly went back to a previous save. I take it there is no cure for vampirism?

Hi hawkavonpuka I've emailed you those "Enchant" instructions from hagatha When I want to copy anything from a Gameboomer post, I highlight the material, R Click and select copy. However, when I open "Word" and then select paste - all I actually see are some coloured squiggly lines !! BUT if I highlight those squiggles and then select a colour choice (black is a good one) the squiggles will resolve themselves into what you copied - once the colour has been "applied" Did all that make sense to you ?? Cheers. Mad

hagatha I enchanted my first item - an amulet called Let'skeepmehealthy It works pretty darn well too I might add. I'm afraid I have a bounty on my head - had to steal a recipe from an alchemist in Vivec - we'll see what happens to my stuff. I did read that if you are the high mucky muck in the Imperial Legion (which I am) you can open the chests of impounded goodies and get your stuff back - time will tell.

You can also stash your stuff prior to being caught, then you don't have to worry about it... Edit: Great name for an amulet

The great adventurer Volo once wrote:
I have often considered a thief to be something of a magician. Indeed, thieves have been known to make a price on one's head simply...vanish. Thus, the cautious adventurer might consider the wisdom of getting to know the local lightfingers.
In response, Elminster is believed to have said:
The wise adventurer would not get caught in the first place.

Which is why I'm a lousy thief I found the local bounty lifter offer in Balmora and bribed err paid off err donated to his favorite charity - and so I am bounty free. I am currently or will be when I get home from work tonight, doing my house quests. On my way up north to somewhere around Vos I think to talk to some Ashlanders about ebony.

I know. Just remembering all the details of the game have me wanting to start it up again. Maybe soon, when I'm done with Gothic NOTR. But then again, I have an unfinished game of Oblivion on my computer, too.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I am back with Ms Macrina in Nchurdamz and am getting killed by the Daedroth or whatever it is. It keeps zapping me with something that kills me really quickly. I have trying going around the center pillar counter-clockwise to buy some time, get in some whacks with either my silver or paralyzing sword, but still die. Anyone remember how to off it, I am sure I need some sort of magic (that I am not good at) or protection, but I don't know what. I am supposing to be helping her, but she doesn't do anything, irritating.
What kind of magic spell to use?

Don't feel bad Hawk. That is one of the most difficult early battles. I recall getting killed a bumch of times, leaving to level-up a bit more and then come back to get killed a bunch more times. That Daedroth is unique in the game. They are usually tough, and they carry some major buffs. For starters you have to use an enchanted weapon on it. Anything else won't have any effect, because he has 100% resistance to normal weapons... Top that off with really high hit-point values per swipe of it's scaly claws, the ability to hit you with shock and poison and then to top that of, he regenerates his health.... See what I mean, this is one tough Daedra. This is where a weapon that absorbs health comes in really handy. I can't recall if Deadroth are immune to poison or not, but most Deadra have a weakness to fire....

Well it looks like once again I have to leave Ms Macrina in there by herself. I have the weapons with the magic stuff plus a flame one, but they aren't enchanted, at least I didn't enchant anything. I will have to look at my stash of weapons in Balmora and with the Creeper and see if any of them absorb health. Not fair that this is given in the early stages, I am still at level 6 and have done well with lots of other stuff, just not Necromancers. Ok, off to to some other tasks, including the Redas Tomb, hopefully I won't forget all the unfinished stuff. Thanks Trail.

Hi hawkavonpuka Just posting to say I am temporarily switching over to an adventure for the moment as my stack of unplayed adventures is getting too ridiculous I'm pretty sure of what I have to do in Morrowind now though so no problem leaving it for a little while. [Although having said that, I bet I have little dabbles alongside my adventure anyway ] Back soon Cheers. Mad

I will have to look at my stash of weapons in Balmora and with the Creeper and see if any of them absorb health. This is where a nice filled purple soul gem and a decent non-magical weapon would come in handy. See your local enchanter...
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I think I have a purple filled one, I stole it from someone. By non-magical you mean a weapon that doesn't have the blue circle around it? I don't know what to enchant it with, I have some spells I bought, but am so clueless on this. Meanwhile I was looking for the Redas tomb and decided to take a side trip to Tel Branora, ran into the monster in the dungeon, good thing I had a recent save, I am not going back in there again. Enough for tonight, my eyes are getting tired, I was playing alot today.

Greetings from Suran (I just finished trying to get money out of some farmers who can't afford to pay the tax - I feel like I'm working for the IRS) One farmer offered me his Guar and the critter followed me around like a puppy until I lost him. I sure hope he makes it back home.
I'm still doing my house quests - the head guy in Caldera is a crooked son of a gun. He's asked me to strong arm poor farmers, steal from the treasurery, switch documents and now I have to do something about an ebony delivery which I'm sure involves something underhanded, and the head guy in Vivec is a letch. Not sure 'ole House Hlaalu was a good idea.
