Fresh Game?????? I haven't been down to Seyda Neen for a long time. I have been a rather wicked hawka lately, I went down to Tel Branora on a lark, just to see what it was like. No quests, everyone down there is pretty unfriendly to me, except one guy who asks me to off a lady and all her cohorts. Well why not, it is worth 1000, so I saved and gave the first whack and of course died. Soooo, being the hard-head that I am, I kept trying, cast a temp shield on myself and got two of them, then ran far enough away so I could heal, saved and continued the process. Got off the stuff on the dead ones, used the console to Creeper. For some reason it says my "recall" spell didn't work, maybe I messed up on "mark". Then each time I went back to Tel Branora more guys were after me, so I had to kill them off one by one. Now I can go back with nobody shooting fire at me, so I assume the baddies are history. Now I forget what I was supposed to be doing before my side jaunt, oh yeah, it is the Redas Tomb, I need the War Axe, Chalice and Robe of Deeds. I sure would like to obtain the Feather Robe, anyone remember where it is???

Way to go, hawka! Yes, I'm a brand new exile in Morrowind. From past experience I know it will get easier but right now you can knock me over with a sneeze.
Would love to find the Mark and Recall spells. So far I haven't run unto anyone that has them. Not only am I weak but I'm soooooo slooooow even in run mode.
Weak, slow, and poor. That's me. Off to hone my thieving skills.

I found a strange locked door on the side of a mountain - It's decorated with a moon and stars - the door speaks "the door is locked and the star is the key"
Just curious if this is a revealed through a quest (and if someone from a town will tell me how to open it) or if I am missing something?
Very curious to see whats inside...

Hi billy Don't you just love mysterious stuff like that in games? Yes, that is actually part of the main quest line and you don't have to concern yourself with it in the early levels. You might want to take note of where it is for reference though. Eventually, you'll need to find it again.

Welcome Rowan of Seyda Neen. Mark and Recall spells are sold by someone (actually two someones) in one of the temples. It's not Balmora - I'm thinking Ald'rhun or Molgar Mar. They are on the bottom level- one is on one side of the stairs and one is on the other.
Hawka the feather robe is called the Redas Robe of Deeds. So if you're on your way to the Redas tomb you'll find it. Good luck though - tough critters around. The robe is sitting on the edge of a sandbox type affair if memory serves (it's been a long time since I was in there).
I am currently on my way back to Ald'ruhn to report in on a finished Temple quest - at least I hope I finished it. Not really sure what I was supposed to be doing. I was told to check out a tomb called Hassour - I went, I checked, I killed baddies, I left - we'll see if I get sent back for not doing whatever it was I was supposed to do but didn't (had that happen to me more times than I can count). Currently at lvl 33 1/2 or so and trucking right along.

Wah, wah, I got it and I gave it to Faral, should I have kept it for myself and fail the quest. Oh woe is me, maybe I should go back to a save. It wasn't too bad in the tomb, scamps are a piece of cake and the Clanfear's I am getting used to. Especially since there was a place to heal after the first one. I got this really neat spear that I got in that unfinished Necromancer quest at Nchurdamz. I have been using it to bring up my spear levels. I have the green glass sword too, but not to happy with it's power. I got the glass mace thingy from the Tel Branora quest, worth 17000, but my blunt skill is almost nothing.

I remember them attacking me in Balmora like the first time I used a bed. I was way too weak so I uninstalled the two of them and still haven't put them back on. I'm chicken!!! My grandson played package deal on console and just dealt with them, but he is better than me. I rarely use a bed now, I manage to rest out in the open or in a cavern somewhere. I finally managed to kill off the Necromancer Telura Ulver in Shal, lot's of stuff in there. I died the first time as if you don't get her quickly, she spurts out more monsters, they died when she did, cool!! On the Main Quest I got the 6th House to do, hints said you should be at level 15 and I am only 7, so it is on hold for a time. So once again I am out looking for work and trying to get strong enough to brave Vas and Nchurdamz again.

I can't remember Rowen but it seems like I was also pretty weak. They got me when I rested in the Mage's guild. The only thing that saved me was they got stuck in the bunks and couldn't move so I was able to kill them. They didn't appear again for quite awhile after that. I think the second time they attacked me was on a path going to Caldera.

Hi I don't remember getting attacked by assassins Maybe I'm not following a plot line that causes that yet ?? [I'm a member of most guilds and the Redoran House - and am level 16.] Cheers. Mad

Rowan how did you reach level 7 so quickly? I am at level 7, I have weapons galore (some bought, some stolen, some given to me for quests). I think I have about 25,000 gold and my glass sword is worth 17,000, plus piles of stuff I could sell all over the place. I have joined Fighters, Mages and House Redoran, I suck at Enchanting but am pretty good with long or short sword and my spear is getting there. I rarely use restore health potions, but had to use restore strength when I got zapped by someone in a shrine (last quest). I think I will try installing Tribual and see what happens. I am playing on an XP computer, an AMD Athlon Dual Core 4000 with an NVidia 7600 GT, 3 gb ram, no problems with the exception of a once in a while crash to desktop, most likely caused by something else running.
Mad the assassins come when you install Tribunal and Bloodmoon at the same time as the original game. The console game is all on one disc so you have no choice. Because of the assassin problems I encountered when I installed a few years ago, this time I didn't install all of them. Now I am feeling brave enough to fight them off. When I had to quite my first play of MW, I was only at a level three I think.

The assasins are part of the Tribunal plot line.

Hi I have the DVD Game of the Year Edition with all three games on it - but I only installed the first "Morrowind". I thought you would have to play the three games one after the other That explains no assassins then Cheers. Mad

I have been killing off Orcs, I wear their armour, I lost the shield somewhere, I think near Nchurdamz. Hmm, assassins armour sounds interesting, I think I will install Tribunal.

Hi I'm SO tired !! I've just spent a loooong time trying to steal 3 "Darts of Judgement" from a bed !! I've managed to steal one (one of the four I need) but unfortunately there are three guards patrolling very close by and so far I've only found one brief moment when none of them could see me - which was when I managed to steal the one dart These darts are for a quest. I really should get them .... So, back I go Cheers. Mad
