Ever since The Phantom of Venice hit the top spot at NPD's list (Top selling PC games list. It was #1) Nancy Drew started getting quite a lot of publicity. IGN actually reviewed it.

They gave it 7/10 and that kinda blew me off. I expected them to give it like 4/10 but 7 is pretty good.

This is quite interesting because ND never really got into the mainstream and this is a first.

Although generalist sites have (very) occasionally reviewed the Nancy Drew mysteries in the past (an exception -- Gamezone has often reviewed them), I get the sense too that the industry is now paying more attention. Nancy Drew games have sold very well in the past without much fanfare on the general gaming sites -- I suspect the added attention has to do with the industry's increasing acceptance of casual gaming.
