maggie, what is a trainer? Also is your curser hard to control? I also am playing on my Vista.
I just saved the boy in the cave and I'm looking for a wagon wheel, any help would be appreciated.

The wagon wheel is in the next town, I believe the name is Torrit, (could be wrong on the spelling).

This from gamewinners:
Quote:
A trainer is an executable program written by a third party that runs at the same time as a PC game, and allows you to access features or cheats that are normally not available. The trainer works by altering memory locations while you are playing the game. It is not supported by the game's developer or GameWinners.com. As with any executable program you install, take basic precautions such as running a virus checker and making sure you can re-install your original game if needed.

You usually have to start the trainer first and then the game.

I'm at a standstill now.

I'm looking for the king of the dwarves. I'm at the Rune Stone called Dwarves Camp and have killed tons of orcs but there are no dwarves to be seen. To the East is an icy area with more orcs that I killed but still no dwarves. My marker on my map indicates that I should go northeast but there is no way I can find to go any further. hardwall

So obviously I am missing something think

If any one catches up and gets to that point and figures how to get further please let me know. I guess for now I'll play Titan Quest until someone publishes a guide or someone catches up and figures it out whichever comes first. confused

Having a tough time going to Torrit(sp). Met Ramus and I'm on his second quest which is in that town.Guess I will have to level up more. Is there a portal in the town? I've made it there just running but those wolves keep following me..Went to the legends forum but it seems no one else has my problems.

catsmom and oldman----- grin

A trainer is actually a large or small bunch of cheat, you download it on your computer, start it first, use directions to start it from the train information and it can add lots and lots of money, I think I have ten million, lots of mana and health and skills, power, it just depends upon what you want. Normally I use only on RPG's and just for money and mana and health. I get so tired of getting killed. No, my curser is easy to control, no problems with it at all. Did you see the wagon wheel in the cave, why do I think it is there and I also missed it too. how are you finding what you need. Would love a strategy guide, I am having a tough time going to Torrit too. I have killed some really large giants. Just got back on my computer, John and I have been gone all day. I do not know if there is a portal in town, game crashed last night and have not been back on it and will not be until tomorrow. Was Ramus the guy who sold stuff, I sold him a bunch of things yesterday and that is when I had the second crash, after we finished. By the way, I got my trainer from cheathappens.com great place. You pay one small fee and you belong for life.

Take care

Hi Maggie, I made it to Torine..found the wagon wheel/bought it. I just kept running till I made it. Now I have to do the cemetary quest. The game crashes randomly so I have been touching the portals alot.I'm at level 8. I just sell all weapons and armor I find to get health potions, so the game is going slowly. But its fun.

@oldman, regarding the Dwarf Camp:
Click to reveal..
If you cross the road from the portal you should find a lone dwarf who wants to fight the Orcs along the road with you. After that you can pass through the Orc camp and find a bridge leading onwards. The dwarf settlement is further on, but not too much further.

Re. the Torrint portal:
Click to reveal..
There is a portal in Torrint. It's a little way south of the blacksmith (maybe two screen-fulls of walking).

Are you enjoying the game, Gremlin? Great that you're so far into it and can help - or are you finished already?

hi catsmom- grin

No more crashes for me tonight. I have not found the town, not sure which direction it is, I think it is East is it not?? I have killed tons of everything, just love the game, I love my pixie curser and the way they talk to each other. I am a level 10 and am playing as a Path of the Warrior, do you think we are suppose to use all of those, so we can do all the fighting and magic. Sure miss a walkthrough, but it is not a boring game at all. I better get up before I am here all night. I need to find someone to sell my things to, I have had to dump stuff, when I find the good things.

Take care and good hunting.

Thank you Gremlin. I knew I was missing something.
Click to reveal..
I killed all those orcs several times and even did it the first time with the Dwarf I just didn't talk to him again after the orcs were dead. I'm not sure if I just missed the cave or if it opened up after I talked to the dwarf but I've found it now so all is well

You have my eternal gratitude. praise thanks bravo

Hi Maggie, the town of Torine is in the SouthEast. I sold lots of stuff to the man who needed a wagon wheel. He says he will be in every town I go to. He will also store items for you when things get too heavy. The only thing that surprises me is the Wolves carry gold smile wonder why they need it..

I'm enjoying it. The balance between 'normal' enemies and 'boss' enemies is better than Titan Quest, so I've not died more than about half a dozen times yet. Just often enough to have the scars (read: dents in my experience points tally).

This is a good pre-Diablo III warm-up wink

I have found the town, after much killing and much searing. How do I find the Monastary, I have no idea? Also on the book you click, I have had the Path of the Warrior and now am on Path of the Wilderness, how do I get on the others, I still have lots of points to use up, but they are the only two that now come up. Any help would be appreciated. No more game crashes, my game is playing great and I really like it. Those bears sure do eat a lot of gold.

Thanks

Maggie ..why do you need to go to the monastary? Is it to see Ramus? If so he is in the South-west from Lana's farm.
I have the Path of the Warrior and the Path of Faith. This is getting really hard. I've made it to the Dwarfs camp and now have to find the Orc campp..These beasts are hard to fight..maybe I will have to do a few days of leveling up to beat them.I think I am on level 16 of 17.

The Monastery is right back where you started. If you've been activating rune stones along the way, you should find you can jump back to an early one, if you can't go direct to the monastery itself.

As for the Ways, you can only have two. You can then add points to skills (starting at the top of the trees) to gain new abilities, some of which are passive (always on) and some of which require the consumption of mana. Have you also noticed that you can improve your Strength, Dexterity, Constitution and Intelligence each time you level up? (It took me a while to spot this)

Catsmom, by the time I got to the orcs, I was at level 22, so I think you'll need to be higher than 17.

ttfn,
Gremlin

By the way, has anyone found the toadstoals for the witch? I hunted for quite a while and then eventually gave up.

Catsmon I hope you've found your guy by now. Maybe he became invisible. rotfl

Well I got around to reading the manual and I learned that you can hit the "A" key and pick everything up which is a pretty handy option. I also read about loading and saving and the manual reads that at the main menu
Quote:
you can save current game and either resume the game or return to the main menu. When you load a previously saved game, you will find Targon at the active runestone nearest to the point at which you saved the game. On the load screen you can select a saved game using the arrow keys.

The only trouble is there is no "load" screen unless I'm missing something again.

It mentioned the Monestary and I thought it was in the town, have never used the stones to go backwards, guess I will have to.
On the two Way I have I have ten points on each of the pictures, which there are quite a few pictures on each one. But I still have almost 100 points left, so far have only been able to put ten points on each picture, you mean I can add more and if so how can I?????? I have seen Ramus and killed Monster, now back to town to do other things.

Thanks

Maggie I'm not sure why you would want to go back to the monastery. Have you been to the cemetery yet? You can hit the Q key and it will show you what the status of your quests are.

As far as leveling up I'm not sure I understand your question. On your screen in the bottom right are 3 icons. The middle one is a book. If the book is blinking then you have unused level up points. If it is not blinking then you don't.

If you have that many points then you must have used the trainer and you can just keep clicking on pictures until you run out of points I would guess.

I went back near the Monestary as I had to talk to Lana about her little boy. Have talked to the elder in the village, I had killed some in the cemetary and now can get the key.
No, I cannot use anymore points, only ten each, I have 99 left, yes I am using a trainer, I hate to die. I know I should play fair and well, normally after the first time I do. But I do like to get the gold for the good items. The book is blinking, but I cannot add any more points.

Maggie there's no shame in using a cheat or trainer for a game if it helps you enjoy the game. I use God mode on all the games that I can't handle the combat on myself. wink

Looks like 10 is the maximum points in this game so you've obviously maxed them out.

Happy Gaming happydance
