Hi all,

For those of you who like playing Nancy Drew adventure games, which one is your favourite and why?

My favourites are a tie between the Haunted Carousel and the White Wolf of Icicle Creek- because I love the storylines, and the characters are intriguing. And in White Wolf- the graphics are amazing; the Nancy adventures sure keep getting better and better in quality, plot and characters.

Let me know what you think!

The Scarlet Hand was my favorite. Loved the Egyptian atmosphere and puzzles.

Hi sarzyangel, welcome to GameBoomers.

I think my favourite is still Secret of Shadow Ranch. I really enjoyed the characters and puzzles. Even the ranch chores were fun to do. It's difficult to choose. The quality of the games really improved from The Scarlet Hand onwards, I thought. smile

Those are my favorites too, though I think I may like Ghost Dogs best.

It would have been mine too Jenny except for the glitch with the last bug. I was one of those that had to play for hours to trigger the arrival of the last bug. That was a nightmare. eek

I thought that last bug didn't appear if you hadn't clicked on everything. I remember it appeared immediately after I clicked on something near the house that I hadn't clicked on before. Of course that could have been coincidence.

I loved The Scarlet Hand for the notes and drawing required, but also loved the Blackmoor Manor for the sheer hairpulling hardness of some of the puzzles. For the ambiance I loved The Crystal Skull. That has to be up there as one of my favorites.

Adding my welcome to sarzyangel!

My favorite Nancy game is Royal Tower. Partly nostalgia since it was my first ND game (my first adventure game, really) and partly because I love the historical period we were researching in the game. Blackmoor Manor and Haunted Mansion are other faves.

But if Castle Malloy lives up to my expectations, it'll be moving to the head of the class! smile

Curse of Blackmoor Manor was my favorite. Though you were confined to exploring the manor, it was full of things to see and the puzzles were the most challenging of the games. Plus, you had the mini-games you could play if you got tired of sleuthing.

Blackmoor Manor is still my favorite too. I love any Nancy Drew game that has 'extras' in it like the mini games in Blackmoor or the Scopa game in Phantom of Venice (another great favorite of mine smile ) I also like how you can buy clothes and wear different outfits in Phantom.
