Help! We were making progress in the tunnels when my sorceress died. We walked out and healed at the temple but she is now a zombie. What do I do?

Edit---We tried a different temple and she is cured now. She was really ugly for a while but luckily her spells still worked.

I got some gold in the Pit and have the Power Cure now. It really helps.

When is a good time to try invisiblity again? I am past that tunnel going west and turned south to a big room and ready to head north. This is just past the bunch of behemoths and where it is clear for a while.

Tried invisibility and got more than halfway through, meeting only one bunch of behemoths blocking the tunnel. Got by them but it looks like we have to jump up on a high ledge from a watery path and can't seem to jump high enough.

If I do get up there, there looks to be a horde of behemoths waiting. frown

I'm guessing that you're at one of these two places

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c386/FallenWarrior3/theEeofoltunnels.jpg

If it's at the one at the top, you have to do like this

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c386/FallenWarrior3/theEeofoltunnels1.jpg

And take a run before useing the "Jump" spell to get across (Temporary set as the "Quick" spell).

The good news for my part, is that I managed to get to the Land of Giants (after killing all the Behemoths in the big room next to the tunnel towards the exit, and useing invisibility the rest of the way) laugh

You are saying that I should have jumped across at the top location rather than dropping down and ending at the "wrench shaped" spot marked with a circle? I tried running and jumping with Jump set as quick spell, but no jump. Something about "can't jump when airborn", but I can jump back in the tunnels. I'll try again. Thanks.

Yup, Since that's the only way to go, if you want to continue to the next part of the tunnels.

Good luck with the jumping, Since some times it can get a bit annoying.

Let us know how it goes thumbsup

I made the jump and turned south immediately and made my way to a pit that has an exit and have gotten into a larger room next to it with piles of gold. I hope I am going the right way since the map is not clear and I don't see any path to the tunnel exit. I would hate to have to backtrack.

Finally made it to LOG. I went back to the jump and took the other way and just ran and dodged and didn't have to fight at all since there was no place that the way was completely blocked. I set a beacon right at the turn for the exit, healed and ran out the door.

Now to get the last obelisk.

Nice going, sounds like the last part/s before the exit to Land of Giants was easier for you than it was for me wave

Soon I'll begin on the quest to kill Xenofex (need to find some missing spell books first) laugh

Xenofex is dead. I was able to do it without killing anyone else in the room, but it was hard. He has a habit of hiding behind the others. There is a shortage of powerful blue potions in this game and I was down to the last drop when he surprised me by falling dead. I am at level 46 now and have a bunch of leveling to do. I have a lot of gold--hope it is enough.

Finished the game and got my certificate. Level 56, 3years, 3 months, 17 days. Score 5589.

I ran through the Lincoln and really only had to kill one droid, though I did clean out the first room. It got tiresome with all the shooting.

Congratulations Pokey - I'm in The Maze and actually could be here three game years at the rate I'm going laugh I found the third statue and am now looking for Hadar's (or whatever his name is) remains. Then off to train more, find some more spells and head onto the next task. So many baddies to kill, so little time laugh

Syd, I did hardly any fighting. I went invisible until the way was blocked, then fought the few times I needed to and ran and dodged the rest of the way. It worked till the end of the game except for Xenofex who required killing. More fun and much quicker. I had 150,000 gold at the end of the game with nothing to spend it on.

Congrats to you too Smiley.

I think I must have some deep seeded violent streak in me. I can't seem to leave an area without a trail of dead bodies behind me laugh

Looks like from here on out it's just me. Hope you guys don't mind if I come here once in a while and talk to myself lol

Quite often I had to fight my way through the game. And some times I did it just because 1 or 2 characters needed the experience points lol

No worries syd, I still have the Evil side left to play evil

Hi all,

Oh Syd you are never alone and we are here if you need our help. smile

Congrats to Simley and Pokey on finishing the game and sounds like you are doing great Syd.

I am starting to think about the Might & Magic games but thats it...only think.

I just finished the Gothic III and saw the 3 endings and am now enjoying Oblivion with Knights of Nine installed so will be here for some time for now.

Who knows...maybe by the time I am ready to play these games again....you guys might be ready also. smile

Boy could I use some help right about now lol I'm trying (and not succeeding by the way) - to kill Tolberti. I've hit him with everything my little group has and he just stands there laughing at us (okay maybe not laughing but it feels like he is).

I may give the game a rest for a bit and see how my Jedi is doing in KOTOR II - I've let her languish for a long time now and I think I need a good light saber fight to boost my morale laugh

Edit ----------------------
Just found your post Barb about backing Tolberti into a corner or against a wall. Will try that -

Syd, did you read the advice Barb gave me? Trap Toberti against a wall or corner and cast Protection from Magic every so often and he will go down easily.

Hi Pokey - found Barb's advice after I posted - Tolberti is now dead.

Who can GM in Blaster and is it worth having everyone GM or just one or two party members? I checked the manual and it doesn't mention anything about Blasters. Also, can you buy more than one blaster?

From reading about the Behemouths, it appears I need to get my Archmage up to Master in Alchemy and hope she can make the Harden potions required.

Syd, as you do your quests, you will find all the blasters you need. I found 8 of them. I had all my party GM in blaster. I doesn't cost anything but skill points. It looks like air and water magic are more effective than blasters.

You only need expert alchemy for harden Item. I had my cleric do it.

So... Pokey, Syd, Smiley - are you going to play M&M7 again on the Dark side? It may be a little harder, but you're all M&M veterans now! You get several different quests.

Syd the Behemoth Killer! smile How are you doing now?

Play on the darkside???? I can't make it through on the lightside laugh Plus, I've overwritten my saves so I'd have to start all over and I'm not sure my ego will let me go back to having dragonflies kick my keister after killing behemoths lol Which I'm still doing by the way. At the rate of my progress I should be in these tunnels for another real world week. The Land of the Giants seems very far away [sigh]

No Darkside for me either. If I do play M&M again, it will be M&M 6. But I need a long vacation from the series first.

Syd, have you made the big jump in the tunnels yet? You can pretty much run to the exit from there if you take the second right turn south. Early on in the tunnels, I teleported out, healed and walked back in invisible so I wouldn't have to fight the various enemies. I only fought when the way was totaly blocked. I was able to fake the last two and dash by them.
