Holy cow! I've got 4 Daedric weapons now! I'm using the Katana and it is blowing away every enemy so far. Think I'll go ahead and finish up that 6th House quest. Most of the duties I'm getting are so annoying anyway. Go get me a ceramic bowl? Egads!

The Daedric katana is probably my favorite weapon in Morrowind. They also take enchantments very well...

Draclvr, isn't that one of the beginning Mage quests, I think you are supposed to do that when you are a wimp. Ajira is cool though, she will always buy all that weird stuff that nobody else wants. I don't have anything Daedric yet, except hearts, or maybe those aren't Daedric.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

They are very useful for Alchemy, one of the main ingredients in making Mana potions, if I'm remembering right.

I haven't gotten to Alchemy yet, but I need to get that skill up. I have several Daedric hearts right now. I found all this cool stuff down in some fortress looking thingy near Gnissis. Well, everything except the Daedric axe which I found in the Ilunbi Cave in the beginning of the 6th House quest.

Drac, did you remember to pick up the Fists of Randagulf hidden in Ilunibi? The gloves give you a huge constant effect boost in strength and agility which also improves your weight limit of your inventory. They are VERY well hidden and it's easy to miss them but worth a trip back. If you missed them look here: Find the section called Soul's Rattle. The gloves are wedged between one of the open chests and the wall of the cave. The only way I saw them was because I was levitating and looking down on the container and was thus able to see between the chest and th wall.

Going to do the imperial legion quests. Just want to get it over with so I can then get rid of their cheap armor. Those legion guys won't talk to me unless I'm "in uniform". They just don't get it that looking good in my own designer armour gives me all the moral support that I need.

I just found a merchant in one of the huts in the Zainab camp who has 9000 gold in his cash register. He doesn't give full price like Creeper but I never bother trying to get full price with Creeper anyway. I'm just too lazy and rich enough anyway. A least with this guy I can get 9000 for an item instead of settling for 5000. He buys just about everything except books. He also happens to be the mercantile master trainer. Seems fitting.
I found this guy, he the gold, but guess he doesn't like me cause he only wanted to pay 1gp each for anything I wanted to sell to him. I don't need the $ but hey that isn't fair. Also I really coveted the weapon that allows you to breath underwater, but he jacked the price up about $700 above the value. I tryed to bargain him down, but no go, maybe I need to use my voice of the emperor spell on him. Have to travel back up that way for Hrundi again so we will see. That weapon would work really good on that long swim I need to take.

I should have used the Soul Drinker on that creepy thing in Nchurdamz, but I was in a hurry to kill him before he got me and forgot to get it out. I don't have any good enough stuff to enchant, no golden saints lying around.

I checked the Hints, I did that quest but must have neglected to go and talk to him as I am still just a Hearthfriend. Looks like another trip up North is in order, sigh!

The merchants all react differently towards you depending on your status with the local natives and how you've behaved to them in the past. Also, some people are naturally disposed to hate certain factions and guilds, for instance. Check the merchant's disposition towards you. If it's low, try to bribe/flatter/threaten as appropriate. Some people react well to flattery and others seem to need threatening before they soften up.

Hi I joined at least five Guilds and have gradually been working my way through the various Guild related quests - although not in any particularly sensible order BUT I am starting to wonder if I am going down a wrong path when I get asked to kill a senior person belonging to one Guild by a person in another ?? Cheers. Mad

Mad -- killing a senior person in a guild you belong to would be a very bad thing unless, I assume, you could do it without getting caught. I would advise getting a different quest from another member of the guild ordering the execution. Somebody else will surely have a task for you that is not quite so nasty. Unless you've managed to join the Morag Tong. In which case, all of the quests would be of the murderous sort.

Hi hagatha No, I'm not in the Morag Tong .... I'm a Goodie !! And yes, for the moment I have changed tack and am not attempting the evil deed But if it's in the "quest" queue, I will probably get asked again in the future ?? Cheers. Mad

Maggie57, do you have your game yet? Once you load the game you can go into Options on the Main Menu and change your keys. However, the R & L mouse buttons are already assigned to use/fight and menu, so I don't think you can assign anything else to them. You can change the others though, but the way it is set up by the game is pretty easy. I use a gaming keyboard, or you can use a gamepad so you don't have to search through your regular keyboard for the keys. Basically it is WASD for moving, mouse for guiding, R for magic, F to ready your weapon, Q is for always walk/run shift to toggle between walk/run, E is for jump and spacebar is to talk or whatever else, it is automatic for me already and not hard to remember.

maggie, after Hawka showed me the gamepad she has, I got one too and it has made my gaming SOOOooo much easier. The WASD keys are so crammed together on a keyboard and on the game pad they are nice big ones that allow you use a natural hand position. I don't think you can change this one to be point and click at all, like Hawka says. Check out the Cyber Snipa .

Hawka- Yes, I have the game, are the people suppose to be so tiny, the movement seems jerky compared to games today. I guess I will have to break down and buy your gamepad. Thanks so much maggie
