MsMercury, how do you like it so far?

My initial thoughts:

- I love seeing actual photos in games. It's a nice change aesthetically from your usual HOG
- Music is fairly soothing
- Gameplay isn't too difficult though some objects can be tricky to find because of descriptions (i.e., "cricket" ended up being a "cricket bat"). I cleared the first screen in about 60 seconds.
- Hint penalty is fairly steep (2 mins per hint)

While I don't normally mind timers, the time seems awfully short to complete all the scenes in a chapter/level (30 mins). I thought the first level only had 5 scenes but after the 5th one, more pop up without anymore time on the clock.

Anyway, having said that, I enjoyed the first level and will pick this up again after I finish a few other games. Even if you don't like timers, you may still want to try this because you can't beat free. smile

I'm enjoying it Misa, though I do agree with you about the hint penalty...2 minutes is a lot off your time especially if you're having trouble finding some of the items. I got down to 30 seconds left at the end of one chapter. eek (I really will have to start wearing my specs! lol) Visuals are good and the music doesn't get on your nerves.

I would say 'give it a go' despite the timer.

Anyone know what the "enamel" was supposed to be?
I had no idea what to look for so I used the Hint and clicked around the circled area until I found it.
But I still couldn't figure out what the thing I found was supposed to be.

The timer is really short I think and the penalties pretty steep, but when you have nothing else to play and you need a change, for FREE, it's not bad. Thanks Misa and Ana for posting. I saw this game a while back on IWIN, tried the hour and didn't like it, but for free....I got it.

The enamel is a paint brush. I think the timer is a pain and found it very hard to finish a level if you used a hint or two. Bummer! All games need to have a relaxed mode.

There is according to a person on game giveaway,a trainer or crack to stop the timer on this game. I checked around myself but only found warez type ones and then a pile of pages would pop up and that sucks. I didn't look any futhur. If you could find a way to email that person he may help you. His statement is where you scroll down and read what people say about the game.
The comment is from a person called caulbox.

I had less than a minute left, one more item to find, and the thing got me for clicking too fast.

now I have not tried it yet- but here is one link that I have found

trainer_freeze time

EDIT

I loaded it and it works-- now I don't know if you have to put it in the game file but I did- I unziped the program- and then dragged it over to my game file- I also put the txt file there so I would remember the instructions. You will then click on the tmgcp.exe file- that will open a little black box that says waiting for game to start- click on the game exe file and when the game starts click on and you see the timer click
F1
that stops the timer- I played the first level and then went to the second with 29:26 on the clock-----BUT it does subtract 2 minutes when you ask for a hint
happy gaming

I couldn't get the game to activate. I had the same problem with a game last week. I even tried downloading it again. I don't know how to fix this problem. Can anybody help me?

karmyn, do you have some sort of firewall? It might be blocking outgoing access to activate.

Whitney, thanks for the link to the trainer file. I ran the file through McAfee and it comes up clean. Works like a charm too.

Thank you Misa and Winfrey. thanks I just finished the game and it was so much better without the timer. grin I am not sure if I would have stayed with it with the timer active.

I have found it is easier not to have the timer exe file in the game folder-- since you have to load it first every time I have made its own folder called no-timer Prague. and I have both of them loaded on my desktop in my games folder- that way when I open the game folder I can immediately click on the no timer folder and launch the .exe file then hit the short cut for the game.
and remember to hit F1 too

I put the timer in the game folder but created a shortcut on my desktop along with a shortcut for the game itself.

That's what I did as well Misa. Thank you all for this. If I hadn't looked I would never have seen that there was a way to stop the timer. What a great way to play this game. Who comes up with these things? AWESOME!!!. Thanks all.

I kept getting an error message to check my firewall, but I'm not sure how to do that.
I had played the demo on Spintop and wasn't that impressed with it.

Man I hate those goldfish. There gets to be so many of them on the screen and there's too high a penalty for clicking the wrong one.

And I have to wonder why they have your character wearing a skin tight shirt and low cut pants with her navel showing. Do they think the average HOG player aspires to dress this way? Fortunately you don't see much of her in the game.

Some pretty screens, but good thing it was free.

Jenny100: I just noticed your post about the "enamel". I think it must be a European term for "nail polish". I ran across it once before in another game, so I knew to look for a bottle of nail polish. It kind of makes sense I guess. Enamel is a glossy paint. Nail polish is glossy and you sorta 'paint' it on your nails.

Nail enamel is a pretty common term in Canada as well.

If I'd recognized what the Hint identified as "enamel" as a little bottle of nail polish, I could have made the connection between "nail polish" and "nail enamel." But I couldn't figure out what the thing was. It looked to me like a little piece of wood or something.
