Just an FYI, when you get caught by the guards the only stolen items they will take are those that came from legitimate sources like the Fighter's Guild armor display where you got your glass armor or if you were to steal something from a shopkeep or out of someone's home. The stuff you "loot" out of bandit caves and such is considered "Finders Keepers"....

One way to avoid it is to drop your stolen goods someplace safe and then walk up to a gaurd and pay your fine. Then just go back and pick up the goods.... evil

Not sure if anyone is still playing but just in case - I found my ghost in the sewers (it helps to be in the "correct" sewer system). Then I found the poison dart gang - brother. rolleyes I haven't had anything or anyone kill me in quite some time so I was feeling pretty darn smug - well that group un-smugged me in a quick hurry. I finally found what I was looking for to get rid of them.

Now I seem to be on a delivery mission for the temple. Seems there is a strange disease that's all of a sudden appeared and is making people sick. I get to carry cure disease potions to the sickies since the high mucky mucks of the temple (no relation to nickie grin ) won't let them into the infirmy for fear of spreading the disease - plus they don't want to panic the populace that there might be an epidemic in the making.

I'm still trying to find my way around Mournhold - above and below ground but it's getting a bit better - well except for those dratted sewers hardwall

I'm still playing too. I alternate between the main quest and doing stuff for fuilds and houses. I'm only in two guilds and in house Reordan mostly just to keep everything straight. Guess I'll have to branch out one of these days. I think I'm at level 36 now.

Ah yes, being un-smugged is a blow to the ego let me tell you grin

I did discover that it was me that let loose the plague - so naturally it was me that had to take care of it - which I did. The world is safe once again from the Crimson Tide.

I'm still not too sure what I'm doing in Mournhold. Don't know yet who the baddie is/are (I have my suspicions but nothing concrete yet). I'm now on a spy mission trying to figure out which guards are disloyal and I need to talk to someone but I have no clue where he even is.

Drac I think you're almost up with me - I may be level 41 or 42 now - progress is kind of slow for me it seems. I did spend a few days selling stuff to His Royal Crabbiness - not because I need the money but because his little island is so crowded with stuff you can't walk on it any more. I know I should just leave the loot where it is, but man is it hard not to pick the stuff up. Talk about conditioning lol

I haven't been playing for awhile, I got sort of hung up at Big Fish, have had problems with my computer and started Dracula Origin as a diversion. I have my saves on a flash drive, thank goodness and do plan to get back to whatever I was doing, thank goodness for my notes and the journal.

What kind of magic spell to use?

I know, Syd. I have to much stuff and money I don't know what to do with it all! I have the floor covered with stuff at Caius' place.

I really need another Potion of Mark, but I can't find one. Any suggestions?

Hope to see you back with more of your adventures, Hawka. You realize it is all YOUR fault I'm hooked on this game!

Drac, just learn the Mark spell. I think you can by it at most temples from anyone that sells spells. You only have to buy it once and it will be with you all the time.

How do I learn the spell? I've been upping my training in Enchantment and stuff, but when I click on someone who offers spellmaking, I get nothing, but an Alumsivi Intervention and an Open - both with very little chance of working.

Hi smile

I've been takin' a break too .... to play the Quest For Glory II remake (excellent thumbsup).

And I also installed Ghost in the Sheet - since it seems such a while since I played an adventure lol - but I haven't got very far into it yet.

Back to Morrowind shortly !! grin

Cheers.

Click on the mages who sell spells. Then select spells. You will then get a list of spells they have for sale. Click on the one you want and it will enter your spell list (where all your other enchantments are listed). You can now use it as many times as you want so long as you have enough mana. Not all mages sell the same spells so you will have to seek out different ones.

While you are on a spell shopping spree be sure to buy all the various Restore spells. Then you don't have to worry about all those nasty necromancers or daedra that drain your stats while in a dungeon. If you're zapped far from home, just kill the nasties, then restore your stats on the spot and continue your dungeon cleaning.

Whoa! Never knew that. And how about those dreaded things that drain your strength? I do have a Restore spell, but was never sure of what it did. I see I have a lot to learn about this game, Level 36 or not.....

Yes, those are the ones I mean: Restore Strength, Restore Speed, restore Endurance, plus all the others. Get spells for all the attributes so you can restore them any time your stats show red. To use your spells, highlight them in your spell list then press R. I usually keep restore health highlighted so I can heal up quickly without wasting mana on something else. However, remember to highlight other spells when they are needed.
