Hey guys, I'm new to GB and I am also new to adventure games but I am seriously enjoying them so far. Last month I played and finished "The Lost Crown" and found it quite entertaining.
Today I just finished up Dracula 3: Path of the Dragon and also found it very enjoyable and well done.

So my real issue right now is... Where should I go from here? Those are the only 2 adventure games that I have finished that I can think of, and I had to use walkthroughs a bit for them because some of the puzzles didn't necessarly make that much sense to me, more so in Dracula 3. With The Lost Crown it was mostly just things I over looked and then used the walkthrough as a slight guide. I have been trying a few different adventure games and most of the ones I try I find that I can't seem to get into or the puzzles are too complex and I get aggrovated. Does anybody have any thoughts or ideas?

Just so you know, the games do not all need to be dark or spooky like Dracula 3 or The Lost Crown, those just caught my attention early on. I tried Scratches a while ago but I think the mechanics of the game threw me off a bit since I had never played a first person adventure game before that one and found it awkward, I am thinking about playing that again since I just finished Dracula 3 and didn't find it awkward or annoying in the least. Alright guys. Thanks a bunch!

Oh, and not sure if these fall into the "adventure" catagory but I played and finished all the CSI game I could find. They were alright, fairly easy.

Hi Duskao
welcome to gameboomers. Don't forget that if you get stuck on a puzzle in a game, and can't seem to figure it out, there is always someone here who can send you a saved game that you can use to get past it. Have fun at this wonderful site.

A great place to find somewhat cheaper and used adventure games is on interactCD.
There's a link at the top in yellow - although for some reason I can't get it to load at the moment.

welcomeDuskao, You can add these ones to your list.

Sherlock Holmes games, Awakened was good.
Agatha Christies games
Nibiru
Art of Murder

The other games I thought of was already mentioned. There is a few games that have recently came out that I haven't played yet and also there is alot of games on the horizon to come out this fall and winter and into the new year. Click on the Latest & Upcoming Adventure Games at the top of the page to find out more. Also at the top of the page check out the reviews of games that have been played they sometimes help me to find out what I may want to play. Gameboomers is my greatest help.

Welcome welcome to your new home Duskao.

I would recomend the Nancy Drew games. They are fun and challenging.
