Here is my favorite! I love this Game: WAnted: A Wild WEst Adventure and Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchmans Mine.

THey are both comedic not too serious.

Trisha, you can find Al Emmo and Wanted at InteractCD--there is a yellow link at the top of this forum.

Here is the website for Al Emmo.

Dust and 3 Skulls are a little harder to find I think. You'll probably have to get those used. You can check in our Trading Post, or google and see what you can find. luck

If "western" means set in the western part of the United States, one that leaps to mind is the first Runaway. I can't remember its subtitle off the top of my head, but mostly takes place in the modern-day Southwest.

If "western" means set during the period of European expansion beyond the Mississippi, then another one besides those already mentioned is Freddie Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist. Its an old Sierra game from 1993, made for DOS, Mac and Win 3.1, but if you can find it, it can be made to play in later versions of Windows.

cheers,
jasper

There is an older game called Cherokee Trails that I have. I've never played it, so I'm not sure about the details.

For an old one from 1993, there is Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist. Review here

And for a really strange variant, there is Silverload -- vampires in the Old West.
