I THINK I just finished playing this game. It crashed just as Melvin was returning to current time, having changed history. It was very temperamental, hanging for quite long periods and I had to disable my fire-wall to install(thanks techies). I was being warned of a Trojan virus! Did any one else have problems? PS I'm now on the lookout for a new game any views on Outcry or Rhiannon?

I haven't gotten too far into Rhiannon but I am enjoying it and would recommend it.

Cris53 -- there's a rather long cutscene after Melvin returns to current time I hope you can figure out how to see them.

Cris, do you use AVG for Virus protection? If so, that was the problem. AVG did not like the game. So much so that I changed my virus program to be able to play it

I can't install the game. I have AVG and disabled it...still, no go. I get "Fatal Error" message. I'm so disappointed. Teddo

Some say that actually had to un-install AVG and reboot before the game would install.

Teddo, they can help you in Glitches if you have any more issues.

Teddo, are you sure you had AVG shut down? If you just shut down the icons in the system tray, then AVG was still running in the background.

To totally shut AVG down, you have to go into Task Manager and shut down 3 or 4 AVG files, and then to get AVG back up, you have to reboot. A major pain!

We ended up uninstalling AVG just because I don't like any program not letting me shut it down.

I got rid of AVG to that solved the problem.

Anne, AVG says Not. They insist the file is a trojan and they won't address the issue.

We got rid of AVG too--we are using Avast at the moment--who knows what we will end up with.

I recently purchased this game and had no problem with install or playing. However I must say I didn't enjoy it very much...each to his own I guess....not very often I get a game I don't like. All games aren't for everyone I guess....Happy gaming all.

it is more likely that AVG would have to adjust their settings. They have done it in the past.

I'm with you. It took me much longer to play it than usual. I just couldn't get into it at all! I thought Melvin was too much of a smart- er- aleck!
