Today's game for club members:

Quote:
Help Steve the sheriff recover missing treasures in this thrilling Hidden Object game! Search the town and speak with citizens to uncover the location of Neptuneville`s stolen artifacts. Scour a multitude of levels for the pilfered prizes and sharpen your sleuthing skills with exciting mini-games. Can you decipher the clues and solve the mystery of the vanishing statue, key, and streetlight? Buy Steve The Sheriff ™ today and find out!

* An exciting undersea mystery
* Thrilling mini-games
* Uncover the hidden objects!

Playing the demo now:

- relaxed mode option when you start a new game
- built in magnifying glass (right-click to use it in a scene)
- you can see a silhouette of the item when you roll over it on the list
- for the first scene, there's a short tutorial and maybe I just haven't had enough coffee yet and wasn't paying attention, but you have to find the magnifying glass as the first item before you can find the others
- some interactive parts -- you sometimes need to use an object you already found to find another

So far I like it. The items are fairly easy to find so good game if you just want to relax with some easy seek and find.

I like it because it is an Interactive HOG. I love the music, the graphics are clear and the characters are cute.

I find that most of the objects are easy to find but there is always one or two that are difficult so there is somewhat of a challenge.

What I like best is that you can skip the mini games. I love the jigsaw mini games but didn't care for the match the bottles... which any one can do even if it takes all day... so I skipped it. So far it's the only mini game I didn't care for the rest are good ones.

I think I'll go buy it now. thumbsup

I, too, downloaded the demo. Haven't finished it yet, but think I'll buy. It's fun. Teddo

What a great game relaxed mode and random clicking. hints are great,I think it's a keeper. Ten minutes into the game and it frooze up, had to shut my pc off and restart it. Same thing happened again I guess I won't be getting it.

I had the same problem, I tried to use a hint to find the last piece of the note and the game frooze. I really like this game and I hope BF can fix it.

Spent all day playing this and finished without any glitches. Not sure how many levels there were but it probably took maybe 4 hours so a medium-length game. It was great!

I had to quit to do something and when I came back I had to start
not at he beginning but not where I left off-- must be you can't quit in the middle of a chapter.

I bought this one as well. Characters are adorable, no timer, and no click penalties. Perfect formula for a relaxing HOG. smile

I had to restart a chapter after taking a break, but the chapters are short so it wasn't really a problem. I played most of the mini-games but I also love being able to skip them if I want to. I did get a little tired of all the "find the differences" and would have preferred more hidden objects. Loved the creative undersea characters introduced in each chapter. Very cute game and so relaxing without a dreaded timer. I stressed over the limited hints, but found I didn't need them all anyway. The interactive objects were extremely easy to figure out. This would be a good game to play with children.

Scarlet, totally agree it was a relaxing game. I like challenges (e.g. Treasure Masters) but sometimes I like just easy breezy games (e.g. Dream Day series) so this is definitely on my replay list when I don't feel like being challenged too much. smile

Help Somebody,

I am only in the second room and am stuck. What do they mean use things in inventory when I don't know where the inventory is?
I like this game very much but finding things using inventory has got me stumped. Can you help? I still have 30 minutes left on my demo but if things are't better explained I may as well give up.

Thanks,

Carlahelp

Your inventory is the drawer at the bottom left of the screen. Click on the drawer edge and it will open. Then click on an item and then an active area in the room. An active area has a larger magnifyin glass when you mouse-over it.

No problem. Actually when you collect your first inventory item (the towel), a bubble pops up with instructions.

Enjoy the rest of the game! smile

I think I am near the end of the game and need help.I have captured the criminal and am on the scene where you have 3 objects in the draw. I put the statue head on the rock and pieced the statue together again. I still have the compass and lamp, but no other areas are active. Please help. Thanks.

Put the lamp on top of the lamp post (on the right).

I tried to do that, but the magnifing glass was not spinning and it flew back into the draw. Does it need to be spinning to place it there? I will try again,. Thanks for the help, Misa. Also in this scene, I tried to go to the main menu to quit but the game would not let me.I had to ctrl/alt/delete to get out. Is it possible there may be a glitch?

thracia

Edit: I think there was a problem with the game. I went back to place the lamp, and had to put the statue together again. This time it showed up on the rock. The first time I put it together it was not there, and the magnifing glass was not spinning over the rock anymore. This time it all worked out. Thanks again Misa.
