The symbols are obtained from you having got into the filing cabinet where the candles are, put the candles in the candles holder, light the candles, hold the paper you found over the candle light and you will see a series of symbols. Go to the lock box, click on it and enter the symbols in exactly the right order as shown on your piece of paper. That then starts the series of light symbol patterns which you must match exactly. As soon as you have successfully done all 4 sequences...your golden! Hope that helps. :o)
