Wow! I am really stuck. The door has been locked on me.
I can't find anything but a pickaxe to try and break it down
but after I picked it up and she said maybe she could use it later, it was placed in a coffin. However now I try and pick
it up again and she says no I have already done that. The outline is in a light blue not a full image like the bat and perfume decanter. Please someone help me get further into the
game I need to know how to get out of the building? smashpc

I have talked to everything and that includes even tried to talk to the pickaxe. blush

Great game and I pre ordered this game months ago, I do hope it isn't all this hard though. help

Even getting use to Mona's finger scratching a chalkboard voice! rotfl thanks in advance.

If I'm right about the place you're at now, use the perfume bottle on the fire, it causes a tub of ice water outside. Look through the window of the door, use the shovel on it. Now use the pickaxe on the door. Heat the shovel and shove it beneath the door onto the ice. Use the bellows to suck up the water, use it to put out the fire. Escape through the oven and the chimney. smile

OH Bernard how did you ever figure all that out? bravo thanks so much! Thats where I am stuck and now I can see the rest of the demo. I hope your buying this because mine has been on pre order for months and I want to know someone else can get me through these hard puzzles.

Big hugs and gratitude from Ireland

EDIT UPDATE.......................
How do I pick up the perfume bottle from the casket? I use the hand icon and she says "I have already done that?" Still stuck thanks in advance for whoever tells me how to pickup this perfume bottle in the casket and use it on the fire.

According to the many responses in 'Adventure Game Discussions', many people will be playing the game along with you! A question posted here will not be unanswered I think. smile

Edit:
Are you trying the refill bottle?

oops nevermind all I had to do is click on it. Duh, I just kept right clicking on it or trying to drag the item. Nevermind about the PM I have the perfume bottle. thanks

EDIT....................
Finished demo and it seems to be a fun game. I love the sense of humor in it. Even her voice I learned to endure no longer finger scratching on a chalkboard. Looking forward to the games release and so glad I preordered from Dave. Thanks again Bernard now I have an idea how to use objects it will make the game easier when the full version arrives.
