Does anyone know why the cost of games has dropped? I always expected to pay £25 - £30 for new and popular games but have just paid £15 for Vampyre and £7.50 for Perry Rhodan. I'm not complaining though!

I have not noticed any change in price either up or down . I do feel that with the changing economy thus far there will be a change maybe as soon as early next year.

I'm personally happy to pay much more than £7.50 for a game from which I get hours of entertainment. That doesn't sound like a break-even price for the developer.
The recession may boost the entertainment sector to some extent.
