I am playing it now, I heard somewhere there is a need to
be fast to capture something at the end of the game
I am wondering if this is true, has anyone played this one
and can comment on this, I am not sure I should continue
I am not good when I need to be fast to do something like that?
thanks Marcia

Hi Marcia,

I haven't played this game, but have taken a look at the walkthrough. There does appear to be a timed puzzle at the end, but the walkthrough does include a screenshot of the puzzle solution - so if you follow that closely, you should (fingers crossed!) be ok.

Perhaps another member who has played this will be able to let us know how generous the puzzle is with time allowance. smile

Hello HeavenlyJoy

Shivers 2 Harvest of Souls has three endings. One ending is the wrong ending, because everyone dies. But the two other endings are both good endings. Save before you try this wrong ending because I don't think you will get a second chance.

The ending that is the best ending, is de ending where you have to do the timed last puzzle. This puzzle was in the "good old days" with Windows 95 very difficult to do, but now, on our fast computers, this puzzle is impossible to do. I wouldn't recommend that you try this ending

The second best ending is not so difficult and is not timed-based. This is almost the same ending as the best ending, but slighty differend. But you win the game en everybody lives happily ever after. Again.....Save before you try.

Perhaps you allow me this remark.....I found Shivers 1, the one that takes place in the Windlenot museum, a much nicer game then Shivers 2.

It's been quit a few years that I have spoken and written in English.Hope I'm doing all right??

Hi HeavenlyJoy

Yes. Shivers 2 Harvest of Souls was a nice game. The only thing I didn't like in thegame were those Tangram puzzles. It's a bit repeative to do the same kind of puzzle 8 times in one game.

But for the rest.....it was a nice game. It's a pitty that this game won't run with my version of WindowsXP. I can play shivers 1 with XP, but Shivers 2 won't run, so I don't have the game anymore.

Whish you lots of success with the endpuzzle. Best to first try the less difficult ending and than go for the almost impossible one. That way at least you will have beaten the game, although not at the very best ending.

Best regards and a very good and nice Christmas
