There doesn't appear to be but I am not noticing a lot of profanity. I will play for a while and post again.

Nothing sad waiting for Nostradamas to arrive from Dave (Interact). Only problem the pound has almost reached parity with the dollar sad It's all doom and gloom, ARGGGGGHHHH !! (sorry for shouting) plus it's freezing here. :shiver:

Just finished "Diamonds in the rough" not sure what to play next probably the latest Simon. I only play one at a time as I get confused.

Don't know what it is frown .... but I'm not playing anything right now, Darleen. Finished Colour of Murder last month, preferring it over Anacapri (which I started a while back, but haven't gotten back to playing). Maybe it's something about the involvement required... I dunno. Looks like I'm in need of Lucy from Peanuts© to open up her help booth for 5¢! Thanks to Chief, I found a good play-online website for casual games; and there's always my Scrabble... both offer only short-term attention (something which I'm more comfy with lately). Oh my. Maybe it's the lack of sunshine??

Tag teaming Rhiannon and Outcry, thanks to advice here. O is 3D and R is slideshow - amazing how it doesn't really matter once you're into them.

I'm playing Rhiannon right now and I love it.
Navigation took some getting used to.
I kept getting lost until I stopped and just wandered around the place to get my bearings and then I found the map (duh!).

I don't know how some of you guys can play many games at the same time.
I usually get so involved with the one I'm playing that I don't even think of starting another one until I'm done with it.
If I do, the first game I started is usually doomed to an early death (i.e., deleted without completing it, fate of Agatha Christie:Evil under the sun).

Still trying to get in the mood to finish Keepsake and ND Castle Malloy, but keep getting sidetracked by casual games. Almost feel like I'm letting Adventure games down... frown

I am playing The Colour of Murder. It is very enjoyable, just like all the other Carol Reed games.

Quit this game again, after I managed to navigate through a forest-maze and found a ship, I got killed before I got the chance to exolore. Hate it when that happens. Don't want to go through the maze again... will start up another game and perhaps go back some time, but not very soon.

I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

wave I'm about to install the final game to play in the 5 game volume 1: "Adventure Collection" BTW, has anyone heard of a Volume 2 coming out? This was an excellent value for $19.95.( Dead Reefs, Mysterious Island,Keepsake,Nibiru, and Tunguska) and I hadn't bought any of them yet.
I just finished Mysterious Island and Nibiru and am about to start Keepsake.
I only play one game at a time-If I get involved in two or more I lose focus and don't enjoy them as much.

People do not remember how much you know, only how you make them feel
finished Gray Matter, playing Alice Madness returns and Deponia

No news of a Volume 2 that I've heard, though that doesn't mean they aren't planning one!

I am playing Rhiannon. I'm just past the beginning - but still kinda wandering about the house and yard and wondering what I am looking for.

I have started Everlight and I'm so frustrated with the game.
The scenes transitions are so slow (at least 10 seconds), it's driving me nuts!
Aside from that, I like the game.
Don't know if I will have the patience to finish it though...

Right now I'm on chapter 3 of Simon the Sorcerer 3D!

After my Monkey Island series replay, which started 5 days ago - I decided to give more of the old keyboard controlled games a whirl. smile

So after Monkey Island 4(Escape from Monkey island), I've just finished Grim Fandango and now Simon 3.

Capricorn, I know what you mean, those screen transitions drove me crazy too. Stick with it if you can, it's a fun game.

I've had A Vampyre Story installed on my PC for a week now without starting it up. Will take a look at it later today, I think. happydance

Capricorn -- I think the options menu allows you to disable shadows -- see if that helps.

Misslilo -- a tour through keyboard-controlled games? Interesting idea. lol

Becky -- I have disabled shadows but it doesn't help...
Rushes -- I must admit that I'm tempted to pick one of the six games sitting in the "to play" pile on my desk and to put Everlight to an early death but I haven't given up yet!
