I played the free trial and bought the game. It is timed, but I decided to give it a try. I am enjoying figuring out the Codex. I think it will keep me occupied for quite a while. I had no problem with the hidden objects part of the game. Teddo

I like it too. Will definitely buy it. The Codex reminds me of those crossword puzzle games where you had to determine who and what by the clues by deduction. (Mrs. white, Mrs. Green, Mrs. Blue and Mrs. Pink all lived in houses that were white, blue green and pink but not in the same color as their houses... from the clues tell who lived in what house...) Quite clever.

Cute game. Loved the demo and bought the game as soon as demo was over. It doesn't appear to be very long (probably 3 hours maximum) and it has a timer which appears to be very generous so probably won't be too troublesome. Love the logic puzzles!

Teddo, you say it is 'timed' do you have to be very quick fingered??
Keep going, the feeling great at the end.

It's timed but so far I have not gone over the limit, which is more than generous... as are the hints.

It's very familiar Flo. Same characters from the previous game and same 'style' of game and storyline. I'm currently stuck trying to reveal a photograph. They get much harder as the game progresses.

Widget - No, you don't have to have quick fingers. I just usually don't play timed games. Teddo

I do not plan to get this one. I used the "Hint" twice to find an "oven mitt." It does not center the hint circle on the item, and I do not see it anywhere in the circled area. Clicking around the area only gives me that infernal message about how it's deducting from my time and I should use the Hint feature (which I just did). Either the "oven mitt" is actually something else, or the game has a bug and it isn't there at all. It isn't worth the aggravation of the timer to have to put up with a defective Hint feature. I remember I tried Nightshift Code and decided not to get that one either. Perhaps it was for a similar reason. I've uploaded a screenshot ***here***. The area the "Hint" circled was above and slightly to the left of the bearded man's head with the glasses. I've already tried clicking on that thing that looks like a cat face on the wall (thought it might be a potholder) and several other things in that area. I just don't see any oven mitt.

Now I see it. Vertical stripes. You have sharp eyes. I'll finish out the trial. I've got about 10 minutes left on it.
