Even though I've been doing Peter's Jigsaws for years, I feel I finally have taken the true plunge into casual gaming with Azada.
What fun, even with a timer. In fact, it wasn't until chapter 10 that I ran out of time and found out I had to repeat 10 again. The game was chock full of puzzles, and reminded me of Pandora's Box. I found the puzzles fairly easy, but there was so many of them that time just flew by. It seems that even with the game done, I can go back and just do the puzzles for fun.
I've read here that Azada 2 is not like the first, so I'm going to try out a demo prior to buying it.
Knowing how much I liked this game, can anyone suggest similar challenges? I'm looking into:
Pini
Dream Chronicles 1 and 2
Ravenhurst 1 and 2

Colpet, I love Ravenhearst 1, but it is a straight hog with fun "door puzzles" for mini-games.

Ravenhearst 2 is an interactive hog--almost like an adventure game lite to me.

Have you checked This Thread?

The results won't be released for several days as the list is still being compiled, but you can get a lot of good suggestions from it luck

Yes, and have compiled a list, but I'd like a bit more info.

Hi Colpet,

Azada IS a fun game! Kind of unique.

The Dream Chronicles games are very puzzle-lish. You might also like Rooms: The Main Building. There's another game, full of puzzles, called Safecracker. Big Fish doesn't have a demo, just the full version, but if you google it you should find a demo.

I liked Azada and Pandora's box too. I think the recommendation of Safecracker is a good one. I can't think of anything else that comes close to Azada. I wish they would make another one that is all puzzles.

I played both Safecracker games, they were lots of fun.

Might try Nightshift Legacy: Jaguar's Eye. Hidden object with overlapping pictures, unscramble words, and logic line.

Never resist a generous impulse.

I wish I knew of one. Most casual games I've played are hidden object games though, with some more interactive than others.

I hadn't heard of ***Pini*** before.
I'll have to try the demo for it.

If you like music puzzles, try ***Musaic Box***. It's short, but kind of unique, so it might be worth trying the demo.

And Rooms: The Main Building is good. If you enjoy sliders at all you should try the demo.

Thanks, Jenny. I'm tone deaf , so music puzzles are a pain for me, but I will look into the Rooms game.

Try the sequal to Azada....Azada Ancient Magic....it is very good too and different. Also Sherlock Holmes lost cases or files (can't remember which) at Bigfish is very good. I really enjoyed both Safecracker games. The old one can be found at Target for only $9.99
