Does anyone know if there is a trainer for this game
That actually works?

My game is version 1.15 and I am downloading the
Patch 1.17 for it but that will take a while since I am
Still on Dial-up.

I am SO tired of dying and dying! Yep I am really
Good at that.

Also sick of paying for assurance and the price keeps
Going up and up the more you die.

I have a trainer now but that doesn’t work and neither
Does typing in the cheat code god after pressing control
And ~ and +.

Thanks for any help in advance. smile

I haven't played Silverfall or used the trainer, but is this the same one you're using? They say they will help if it doesn't work.

I have been to many many sites and each and every one tells me to press control ~ + and type god but I tried that and it doesn't work for the retail version of the game. On one of the sites I did see that doing the above will work with the demo version.

I did download the saves and they do work for me and am able to bring up their attributes and skills so its just as good as god mode but I wanted to continue my first 2 original people who seem to die a lot. I always give them the best armor and weapons but that is not enough.

VHL thumbsup

Did you try the one at www.cheathappens.com if you are a lifetime member, it will not cost you anything, and since the game has been out so long, you should be able to download it for free. A lifetime membership is $19.99. I have used a lot of their trainer and find 95% of them great. Hope this is a help to you.

Have a nice weekend.

Maggie,

That is exactly the trainer that I have but it doesn't work for me. I hear the action activated voice as I press F1-F5 but nothing is really activated. frown

Also Maggie there is only one trainer for Silverfall and the others must be for expansion?

Well I will keep hoping that someone will know of another trainer and in the mean time my girl is now level 15 and getting stronger. smile

Maggie, do you remember what you did to make the trainer work?

I have the game installed on my XP drive.
My game version is 1.15

I am trying to use the trainer on this page

http://www.cheathappens.com/show_download.asp?ID=22314

maybe this trainer doesn't work with my version? I can hear the voice telling me that the action is activated when I press the F1-F5 keys but nothing is really activated because I still die and I get no money or any points for attributes or skills.

I also tried to press Control & ~ & + keys and I get the console but when I type god that doesn't work either because I die.

Ok, sorry, my post is not about trainers, as I don't use them, I'm afraid, but I would like to just give you a small tip, anyway. The game is really meant to be played party-based, I assume you are using your full complement of party members?
I cannot remember if this was 3 or 4 members.

I usually prefer solo play, and never collect a party if I can help it, so I initially slogged along in this game solo, and also didn't make much headway against the hordes of zombies, until I took Morka with me - you must put her setting on "healing" so that she heals you. That helps a lot to prevent you from dying so much.

Then I also got that guy from the marshes with those spikes on his hands (can't remember his name); and by the time I got the girl with the guns, (or you can take the mage), we were on a roll, and I had forgotten that I had ever died.

Just a tip for until you can get your trainers sorted out.. wink

Thank You Moondancer for the info.

I do have Morka with me and am looking for others to join me but haven't found any with my Zalania game.

As far as my elf guy goes I did find the girl Tayna(spelling?)just north of the cloudworks place.

My girl human will be more nature so will have to keep looking for her helpers.

My guy elf will be more for science.

So how many people will I be able to have with me at the same time?

Oh also it helps that you can summon helpers. smile

I checked again, and unfortunately you can only have 2 companions at a time; for some reason I had mis-remembered that it was 3.

Sorry! frown

Anyway, If you yourself are nature, then it's good to have a pro-science/mechanist person in your team, so you can fully utilise all the weapons and armour that you pick up.

Where would I find such a person?

We just got to Cloudworks and there are 2 people we have a chance of getting.

One is the Lady with rifle Tanya (I think you can pick a mage where she is also) or a goblin guy don't know what his talent is.

Game is going not bad at the moment.

My girl is level 20 and finally has 2 helpers with a 3rd waiting on the side hehe. smile

As long as we take it slow and maneuver around most of the enemy and fight when we have to then we are OK.

Learned to have plenty of potions in inventory and my fingers on number 9 and 0 to use them.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier - but Tanya is the mechanist/science lady that I personally used. If you take her, you can let her have all the "science" related armour and weapons you pick up. I used to let her hang back a bit and shoot from a distance, as she is not all that tough, but she's a good shot.

Danselame is also a pretty strong fighter, btw, if you have him available -it all depends on what kind of weapons/armour you have picked up by now. Him you have to put in front alongside you, as he fights melee.

This game is pretty fun if you let your main character learn magic and shoot chains and balls of lightning, or freeze your enemies, and so on. smile

Well I now have in one of my games Tanya and Morka and the other has Morka and the goblin (forgot his name).

The goblin can heal also so am using him for now and have Tanya waiting for me.

Where can I find Danselame? What does he do and which side is he on?

I usually use my most favorite magic and that is fireball. smile
I find that Morka uses freeze a lot so that works well for me.

Oh I also found that they can move their positions. How do you move them to be next to you or back? Somehow I must have did it but don't have a clue how.

So when you summon at least 2 beings you have a group of 5 and that helps.

Danselame is in the swamp in Mangrove - there is a quest that leads you there, I think. You go to Elves for something, and on the way you go through Mangrove - that's where Danselame is. You should also have recieved a quest regarding a shaman that you have to meet in Mangrove, quite early on.
I would advise you finish your current business in Cloudworks first, though, as the swamps I refer to, are quite a way away from Cloudworks. I can't remember 100% correctly - I think Danselame is Nature.

Re the position- you talk to them and tell them to change their fighting style - either that you want them to hold back and cover you from a distance (better with Tanya) or you tell them them that you want them to fight right next to you (I did that with Danselame)

There is a male mage that I also found reasonably useful - I used him as a ranged spellcaster, but he is also Nature, so then there's no-one to give your science goodies to.

Well the Shaman quest is for the nature side and I did that with my girl who is on the nature side. But my guy is for the science side and not doing that quest for him.

Thanks for the info and I guess I'll have to trek all over the swamp areas to find Danselame.

Where would the mage be?

When I got Tanya I couldn't click on the mage there so just wondered where the one you mentioned is.

Thank You for your help and I do appreciate it.

Regarding Danselame: I do remember having to visit a settlement of Elves for some reason, which would take you either through or close to Mangrove again, so perhaps wait until you have that quest? Danselame himself gives you a quest (re a missing cartographer) after which, if you do the quest, he will join you.
As far as I remember, Danselame is sort of South-Westish on the Mangrove map.

I'll have to think a bit about where I found the mage.
I'll let you know as soon as I remember... razz

EDIT: Gee, you're making me feel like playing this game again, in spite of all the zombies in it... I have so many other games on my plate though... crazy
