hi please help I am now at the part where the walkthrough says that I must put in the word raccoon but every time I try holmes says I am missing a very improtant fact or something like that I can't get rid of the screen and all the letters come up in capital letters what am i doing wrong or what do I need to do thank you

I'm having another small problem.. The walkthrough says to press the CTRL-key to crouch down, however, all it does is change between first and third person perspective...

Any ideas?

Have you tried pressing the other Ctrl key on your keyboard to see if that works for crouching?

Edit: I just took a peek at the walkthrough and updated review of this game. The Escape key is used for switching between first and third person. When you press the Ctrl key, check the icon of the figure at the bottom of your screen to see if it is standing or crouching. It could be that it switches to first person when in crouch mode in order to give you a better close-up view.
