I just got another update from Amazon. I pre-ordered this ganme in August of last year and the shipping date has been changed several times. Today's message said they would continue to try to find it or I could cancel. Does anyone know anything about the status of this game?

Hi grannieannie -- as far as I know, the game is on hold because the publisher is now insolvent.

Is the game being published by Lighthouse at one time? Or is it Akella?

It "was" being published by Lighthouse but they are now insolvent.

BUMMER!!! I'd had it on preorder from Amazon, but they just emailed me saying they've cancelled my order on the grounds that they didn't know when/if they could get it.

I'd had it on preorder since last Summer, too. Unfortunately, Amazon said nothing about any continuing efforts to get it on their part.

Lighthouse's insolvency would explain a lot. I then wrote to Lighthouse directly, and their reply was:

Dead Mountaineer's Hotel is not available nor was it released.

At this time the game also is no longer on Lighthouse's releaselist.

As things stand now, I don't know WHO, if anyone is going to pick it up. DARN!!!!!
