Okay I went back and now have 4 health bubbles. Tried the chest and I get a puff of black smoke. I'm gonna give my shoulders a rest for awhile. I'll try later.

I feel your pain! I think the first time I played, I finally got frustrated and bypassed that one! They get harder in the game, so keep stocked up on those skeleton keys. But you do get better at the chests as you figure out the rhythm of the lights.

I'm battling 3 enormous spiders right now. Come on, Sting! Do your job!

scared scared

I just can not get past Bert after he scratches his back. I am pole vaulting. Even if I hide behind the stump, which is as far as I can get, he still gets me.

Flutist you have to take off the instant he stomps, there is just enough time to grab the red and blue crystals, or don't worry about the red ones. I went into the area with five bubbles and lost two on the chest once, but I usually get them. If you have enough bubbles to last, the pointer thing will slow down Some of them are harder than others, I hate the one that goes around and you have to get it right in the small green zone.

I know Drac did pole vaulting but I just did hide and run, vaulting throws me in an area where I could be seen. I don't have that much control over my hands.

To get past Tom, get your self into a position that makes Bert change direction. There is something that triggers it, but I don't know what it is. Each time I tried with Bert in the same place I got caught, if he goes back and forth between the troll on the other side you don't. Of course you have to sneak/walk and not step on the leaves. After that there will be another save pedestal, you can save before the next chest. The only thing in the first chest is silver, there will be even more in the next one.

You really have to be persistant in this game, the more you have to do over the better you will get. However I feel pain also, my thumb aches from reaching for the space bar while keeping walk and duck down going. Plus due to the shoulder dislocation last November that starts to ache even from lots of mouse usage.

Have fun in the Troll Hole, that is where the moving pedestals almost did me in, now I have the rock throwing monsters. Grandson said, just run, keep moving, but then if you want the goodies you have to rapple down the cliffside.

And if you want the goodies behind the spiderweb, be sure the check out the waterfall on the right when you are at the first save pedestal. There is a rope you can rappel down... Just be prepared for a fight!

Do you mean the things in the water? You just keep whacking away at them. The jump attack really helps. Sometimes you can get up on a rock high enough to stay out of their way and pelt them with rocks. Then you can jump down and finish them off.

Oh, THAT one! First, you have to kill his little "minions." Then he will rear back and you can run up and whack him on his soft underside. After he comes down, run away! Grab some mushrooms or use a healing potion. Each time more minions spawn and you have to kill them first once again. Whenever I would get a few good whacks in and drop his life meter down, I would also run over and do a save.

The rocks work the best on the dragon-worm thingies.

You don't even have to kill the dragon things, you can walk around them. But of course when you do you get rewarded with gems. They manage to keep coming back after awhile so they are good to toy with and there are lots of rock piles down there.

After you finish this level you will be rewarded with a sword, so much better than a stick.

I like to kill them and get more gems towards health bubbles. Once you kill all of them, they are gone for good. Watch for a little puff of smoke above the holes that indicates one is coming up at that hole.

I love my little Sting, but the stick is still much better for killing the spiders when there are a bunch of them. Those annoying little jumping creatures are easier to kill with the stick too. Especially when you get the scroll for the devastating stick combos. Hold down the Alt key and you will swirl around taking out bunches of enemies at once.

Got them. Onward, but not today. Susie is due over here soon.

Edit: Now I am looking for the key. Is it in a chest? I don't have any more skeleton keys.

Edit again: Got the big spider and am still looking for the dey

Ooo... got the spider, eh! Have you gotten the next witch-king crystal from the chest by the spider web? You will need to have it in order to start the moving platforms. Then jump from one moving platform to the next. When you get to the last one, look to your right and you will see the big key.
