This is where I am at too but I don't have too many health bubbles. May go back and replay, but I lost a lot of them in the big fight with the goblins.

I did too since it sort of took me by surprise. I save a lot and always go back and redo if I lose lots of bubbles, especially if there is a mushroom shortage in the area. When I was above the goblins I threw stones at them, that worked better than jumping into a fight.

There were some freeze stones, I tried them on the four goblins before using the lift, stones ran out of juice before I could target them, so I jumped in and started fighting. Did I ever mention that I really hate "poisoned chests"?

The dreaded poisoned chests are the reason I keep stocked up on skeleton keys!

I used one of my hoarded keys to open the superfast one where the green gems are, I got through the poisoned one, the huge batch of snakes, trolls and now have to fix the lift thing. Finally got to save, good thing as I managed to leap to my death by accident using the lift, mad

I have skeleton keys but they don't seem to work on the poison chests.

I swear, I don't care how many times I play this game, I forget how they work. You have to start to try to open the chest first, then hit "K" right away - or if you have a gamepad, whatever key you assigned the skeleton keys to.

I started flies and spiders today, eeks!! I did get the minions with stones, I jumped up on that log and beaned them til they died. This section has save pedestals too far apart, I hate replaying and replaying sections, then croak from a chest, grrhh!!

Eeeek, are those the ninions that I am trying to fight and not having any luck with? All those contrpations in there. Not enough mushrooms around. Do I outrun them or fight em?

Not sure what you mean by contraptions. You encounter the Witch-King minions after you jump out of the log. There is an archer minion and a bunch of others. The best thing to do is defeat them all so you can get all the goodies up in the trees. There are also some round colored stones you have to get in order to open the gate to the next part up in the trees. On the other side of the big log, you will encounter more of them.

Well, not sure what else to call all those thingies that keep going around. There are all these guys in armour that I have to fight. They keep throwing things at me like bombs or something.

Gotta go over to the college. Back later.

You don't! You just have to kill them before they kill you. This is one of those places where a Waters of Vigor potion will get you through. If you can get someplace relatively safe, after you pick up the fire stones, you can kill a bunch of them that way. Actually, the blue ones aren't that hard to kill, but try to take the archer on the big log out first.

OMG I just met the minions!!! This is going to be really hard, I can get the exploding rocks, but they kill me before I can even find a safe place. I wonder if the ring would work here, just so I can hide. I can't remember if I went this far in the game or not last play, I don't think I did.

Unfortunately, the ring doesn't work with the Witch-King minions. The rocks do re-spawn after awhile, but you only get only one Fire Rocks, so make them count if you can. This and the next fight is where I meant to have a couple of Waters of Vigor potions!

Ah, but after you finally get through the gate on the other side, you have the hideous Witch-King himself to defeat! If you only have one of the potions, I would save it for him.

This is a really tough part of the game to get through. I know I've spend days on it in the past!

Do you mean across the water? If so, you use those floating and spinning rafts. Have you climbed up into the trees to get all the gems and chests up there? There are also a couple of colored round thingies you will need to open the gate to the Witch-Kings tomb.
