I found myself accidentally yelling aloud in a scream that caused my hubby to come running out of the bathroom thinking something had happened to me.

I was playing a game I just purchased called "Campfire Legends, The Hookman" and I highly recommend this game. It has some speech, hog, Ihog, puzzles, good graphics, really scary storyline. I purchased mine from Real arcade but Gamehouse has it also.

The reason I screamed is I had my headphones on and was just casually looking around for a few objects and out jumped something in my face unexpectedly! I won't say anymore so I won't ruin the surprise but twice I yelled aloud. Now I am not a pansy wimp when it comes to games and my husband laughed so hard when he found out it was because of a game I screamed. I suggest you have your headphones cranked up and a dark room.

So if you want to test a great game at a cheap price that is a murder mystery, come join the fun with me and let me know if you yell aloud also. I don't think you will regret it.

Sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories has been proven to be an outstanding way to scare your friends, but how about yourself? Now GameHouse has taken on the role of storyteller, and it's your job to not just listen to the story, but to experience it first hand in an eerie tale of survival and the unknown. Just in time for Halloween, do you have what it takes to survive?

Sherryah, I jumped 4 times in the first half hour- and I am never scared with games.
I agree it is an excellent game.
The Gamezebo review, which gives it 4 and a half stars states this is a trilogy, so 2 more legends to come!

Hi katbear
rapidshare is a file sharing service- some people use it to distribute illegal downloads so I advise not clicking on such links.

The game is available for demo and puchase at
http://www.gamehouse.com/

Gamehouse studios developed this game so it will not be available at Big Fish.

katbear, any downloading "free" games from a file sharing site is against GameBoomer rules. If it's free, you can pretty much calculate it's not legal.

The game is currently available at GameHouse aka RealArcade (they are both RA companies) only.

Thanks Sherryah,
I dld the trial yesterday and loved it......I also advise playing it in the dark LOL. It is so good. My daughter just came back from camping upstate and was telling me something scary that happened too. scared LOL
I was hoping BFG would get it, but I was told they usually don't get Real/Gamehouse games Is this true Ana? I love having everything all in one place with BFG Manager. BUT, if I'm told the'll never have it then I'll have give in on this one, it's just too good to pass up.

The Founder of BigFish (BFG-Guy aka Paul Thelen) was the one who helped start up the RealArcade online portal while working for RealNetworks. He then moved on to start his own company, BigFish. RealArcade doesn't want to associate with BigFish at this time due to this.

Does anyone know if you will be able to buy this game at Best Buy or Walmart, etc? I too like all my games at one place (Big Fish).

You likely will be in a bit. Usually they come out shortly after the download.

Thanks GameBoomers for letting me know I am not the only one that this game gave a thrill and a scare too. LOL that would be so funny to have your child come back from a camp out and your playing the game at the same time.

Now its dark and its 1:00 am and I am ready to go back again into the game again. People are complaining that it is on the short side and will end abruptly but I won't complain, because I have already played 5 hours straight, and it was worth every minute of it. Can't wait for the sequels.

I hope you will give it a try Ana and Becky, and MaG, let us know if you jump or get a scare at anytime during the game.

My husband has informed me if he hears me scream again while he is in the bathroom, he will not come running and realize it is just the game scaring me. LOL I could go into detail how he was dressed when he came running to my rescue, but I will let your imagination fill in the details. LOL
He is my knight in shining armor and my body guard but he can't protect me from the scares in a computer game, he laughs and says play it at your own risk.
