Carla did you find the flies? If not lighten your resolution and you should see them clearly on the outside of the house. Don't enter without 3 flies the spider will eat the flies and give you hint in return. Once inside the house you get unlimited hints but have to wait 2 minutes once you run out of hints.
I agree once I lightened the resolution of the screen it wasn't grainy and I could see clearly items. I still think it is a great game but I am sorry to hear that others have had problems with the graphics.
