Having played the game years ago I installed Riven anew and discovered I cannot access a menu in order to save or get out of the game. Apparently, the booklet that came with the game has been lost, though I don't understand how that could have happened. Does anyone have the menu info and/or how to access it in the game.

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Hi Bob, nice to see you. The Riven booklet says to use ctrl+S to save your game. Good luck.

EDIT: To access the menu click near the top of the screen or use crtl+space bar.

Thanks!!

I did everything except stand on my head trying to get out of the game the proper way. Discovered the Ctrl-S keys for saving but couldn't get it to work but once. Will give it another try later. I'm pretty sure I didn't try the Ctrl-Space Bar for exiting the game but will certainly give it try when into the game again.

I believe it was the Alt-"any key" that gave me the options and a couple of other things at the top of the screen. Just thought I'd throw this out in case someone else has similar problems. Also the game seems to be running well in XP PRO (5 disk install)
