Hi folks, very long time...no see. Some of you know that I've been off creating art instead of gaming but recently I've taken to replaying some of my games that were my favorites.
I just replayed Amerzone. Now I see why I kept it. It is such a lovely game, if quite short. It played well on my XP home system. My computer is 5-1/2 years old (oldest computer so far) and will not last much longer so I wanted to revisit my games.
I also reinstalled, and uninstalled quickly Aryn Quest and Forever Worlds...into the Goodwill box. FW didn't want to play correctly and it was not very good anyway (I traded for it forgetting that I already had played it). Aryn Quest is just too hard on my patience now that I'm older but it worked well.
My favorite, though, is Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. I played it through and replayed it halfway through again before uninstalling it. Love that game. Gave me some fits that I had to work around but I managed and it was doable (alot of ctrl/alt/del when I wanted to leave the game).
Zanzarah I played a year ago and works perfectly (a keeper). I think The Longest Journey needs a revisit now. I loved the ending in that one. I hope it works.
