Great deal on the new special edition of the Casebook Trilogy Here.

Quote:
Part-film, part computer game, Casebook is a unique experience. Made with real actors, real locations and innovative Areograph technology, every scene is accurate, down to the last detail. Because a forensic investigator couldn't work with anything less.

Follow kidnappers, scammers and worse through the incredible, photorealistic environments; trace the evidence to its source using forensic techniques; watch the cinematic story unfold as Detective James Burton follows up on your findings and interviews your suspects. Together, you solve the case.

Think of it as a crime show that you star in, with new episodes appearing regularly. Watch as your Casebook grows.

Are you ready, rookie?

Great news! Thanks Ana. wave I hope "In Abstentia" doesn't mean that Detective Burton will disappear.

This is good news. Only just finished the second one yesterday. I`ll have to wait till after 9 tonite to buy it as it`s a hefty file and my ISP throttles if you download more than 750meg between 4pm and 9pm.

Whew! Burton's still around, though he's looking a bit scruffier. Episode 4 looks like it's got an urban setting, as opposed to the "Garden" setting in Snake in the Grass.

Not at this time Jenny, I would buy them from the Developer and then they get all the money.

About how long are each of these segments? I'm just curious. 15 dollars doesn't seem too bad to just get all of them at once, but are they like 15 minute "games," or do they take a couple of hours?

They are of an average length, not short. Worth the money especially at 5 dollars each.

Each episode took me several hours (though I am not a "fast" gamer). For me the second episode was the longest -- about seven hours. The third episode was more polished but shorter -- about four hours.

I really enjoyed these games but I thought the series had been put on hold because of funds. Am I wrong? Is the fourth one due?

Yes, (at least, as far as I've heard) the fourth one is still planned for release, though we don't have a release date yet.

they have the fourth one on their web site with TBA. I think maybe the special edition is a way to bring more funds to fund the future game.
