Forgive my ignorance to what Uru Live is but if you have already played the game what is the sense of redoing it Online? I am like Mary, don't need any socializing but don't want to pass up something Myst related.

I downloaded file Myst "Online - Uru Live", ran it. A "checking for patches" window opens and thats about it. Nothing else happens.

Yes, I have that now, too. SO, it's not you.

I was in for a while, and it was filling fast.

We'll see how this plays out. :-)

There is a link by KateVa that links you to Myst Online Uru... have you played any of the Myst games? This is an on line option.... go to the link and check it out

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but I can't even open up the web page. Every time I try it my browser pages all imediately lock up and I have to do a Control Alt Delete and use the Task Manager to end the program, which closes all open Browser Windows. There is only one other site I have this problem with and that is Adventure Gamers.

MJ2C, I feel your pain... the massive interest has been overwhelming. Don't give up yet!

OK, there have been many posts at MOUL Forums about their efforts to fix what they know is happening.

Tonight at around 11:00 PM EST I tried again and got online. I have been there for two hours and it seems pretty stable (only a little stutter every 20 seconds or so). Lots of people in here now. DudeMom2000 is working on a Gameboomers Hood. Check out the multiple advice topics on MOUL Forums for help... this is a long one that started this afternoon:

Winfrey -- well, I'm hoping to get in as Becky. I haven't managed to complete the download yet. After having the download interrupted on the first day, I thought I'd wait a couple of days to see if the whole download process gets faster.

Does anybody know -- is it getting faster to download with the new servers they're now using?

I have downloaded. It took a couple of hours, but it stutters a lot. Maybe that's my computer. I have no idea what it's all about. I played Myst many many moons ago. Do you reckon I should play Uru so I know what's going on. Every body on this forum is getting VERY excited about it.

Don't play Uru first Chris, it's much more fun live, always someone to help and have a laugh with.
