Is anyone else playing this yet? I just got started tonight and so far, it's just wonderful!

Controls are the same, I have a new bunch of people following me about, and I've run into a couple of old friends. cool

It made me nostalgic for the old days ... can you consider a month ago the "old days"? lol

You can choose to import your character from the Origins, or start a new character and I started with my old girl, she is just how I want her so I couldn't resist!

I wonder how big this expansion is?

Who else is helping us fight the darkspawn?

Looney,

I imagine by now your darkspawn are all long gone.

I just found the expension in the stores for the first time this weekend. It's a good expansion. I like some of my new compansions; I only wish there had been a few more of the old faces.

Anyway, a good expansion. I'm not sure how long it is, but from the quests I have left I sense that I will get around 25 hours out of it, which is not bad, but not nearly enough, at the same time!

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hi Hagatha! I've been taking my time with this one, and I still have a ways to go. It seems like there are alot of side quests, I'm surprised at how many pop up! And I'm trying to do them all. grin

Where ever you go, look around thoroughly, some faces will be familiar! They won't come with you, but it sure is nice to chat with them. Of course, they will react to you the same way they did in Origins!

Did you keep your person from Origins or did you create a whole new person? I tried out both ways to get started and people react differently to each.

I'm glad to have a little company Hagatha! yes

I actually ran through the entire expansion over the weekend, though I didn't finish everything because at least one of the companion quests is badly bugged. It's a pretty decent expansion, with good quests, though I have to admit I am disappointed that it's almost all new characters. It would have been nice to carry on with my whole crew, a la BGSOA:TOB. They could have at least given me my doggy. This way, it feels like a short game on its own instead of a continuation.

I imported my Human Mage first, and now my human noble rogue, and after that I might create an all-new character. I really like the new rogue abilities. This expansion is also a good way to try out new and untried spell trees without committing to a whole game, just in case.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
