So it's ***this one*** with 2 GB of system RAM and an ATI HD 4670 video card. It should be fine as long as the power supply can support the video card.

You should really look into getting a faster cpu the gfxcard is gonna be too powerfull depending how much you wanna invest a intel i5 is pretty cheap but offcourse you will need new motherboard/ram also can get expensive hehe.

But it also depends what kinda games your after if only adventure games you dont need a heavy pc, but else most of todays games require a dualcore cpu atleast for minimum specs.

It says Willie's power supply is 375 watts and at Newegg says minimum of 400 watts for the 4670s which had the spec listed. I found a few low profile 4650s that say minimum 300 watts.

Willie,
I have a Dell computer older than yours and it works fine for most adventure games. The processor speed is the same. There have only been a couple of games where it was too sluggish -- and those were because of the older video card. 375 Watts is not far from 400, and Dell power supplies are said to be good quality, so you should be OK with a video card that requires 400 Watts.

Assuming, yours, mine, anyones P.C.is o.k. and generally around, capable, plus adequate, then what next, is most, likely to slow the overall preformance down if at all. ? WHAT CAN I DO, , DELETE,remove junk, etc, any, suggestions. for honeing the machine.Willie

Mainly just make sure nothing you never use (and your computer never uses) is running in the background. For example if you have Real Player installed, it doesn't have to automatically start itself up every time you boot the computer.

Make sure you don't fill up all your hard space with temporary files -- run Disc Cleanup to delete them.
