Does anyone have any experience installing these games? Not the download ones from GOG, but the originals. Do you need DosBox? I'm new to that and I'm not sure what it all means. Any advise would help.

The 3rd one definately runs on Vista and I'm almost certain Ive played the 2nd one on there as well, so if they run on that they will probably run on Win7. As for the first one I'm not certain you may well have to use DosBox as that one is a pretty old game.
Someone may have tried it recently and they will let you know for certain.

Just go to Sierrahelp.com and get their installers for all 3 games smile

They will do all the work for you and make the games ready to play.

Hi,
Jenny sent me this link for XP and it works great.
Gabriel Knight Installers

I hope I did this correctly. I used it for my disks, and all was a okay. I did buy GK one and two from GOG as it was nice and easy and I wanted to keep them doing the older games.

I'm using Vista. Any thoughts on that?

Hi,
I don't know about Vista. Maybe Jenny, Island, or one of the others can help. As for Dos Box I haven't learned it yet. Trusting GOG for games that is useing it. Although the installer I linked put it in Dos Box, when I played them from my disks. Now playing via GOG.
