...try it out if you like Match 3s. The full title is: The Enchanted Kingdom: Elisa's Adventure, and it's listed as a "whole family" game, which I usually interpret as being geared toward children.
It's not a huge hit on BFG from the lack of the little flame, and I admit I just passed it by. However, when the sale came along and I needed a couple of more games for my card, I tried it out.
It's quite charming. Yes, the character art is 2D "cardboard" but well done, the two variations of Matching are untimed, there are some other puzzles to solve, and all of it is backed by soothing renaissance inspired music.
Overall, totally relaxing and entertaining. I giggled when Elisa trudged her cutout self up the mountain in a puzzle-built titanium shield to feed Arrni the "fearsome" dragon a heartburn potion, and also when she explained in quite good ribbits how the swamp monster could use the portal.
Storyline is simply fairytale, with the peasant girl of noble spirit (probably the lost princess) proves her worth by being kind to everyone. The developers have done the same for those of us who sometimes have eyes too tired to hunt for more objects, especially after a hard work day filled with paperwork.
I hate to see this one just slip into oblivion, especially at $4.89!
