i had this game running before i re installed windows xp. is this a 16 bit game. i installed the patch per dicertions in the read me file. but thegame hung up on the first screen. how long does it sit there. please helpi just installed the last sanctuary and that started right away.it is on the same dvd

greatsmitty, this is one of those games that is sort of spotty as far as running in XP even though it's supposed to. I've had good luck on my XP drive by playing the game in 98 compatibility mode.

Right click the game icon; select properties; click on the Compatibility tab and put a checkmark next to Windows 98. Click Apply and OK and see if that works.
