I pulled the lever and when I go to open the compartment on the floor, I die. I looks like I have to do something in the corner, but I tried all my tools and nothing happens. I picked up a stone that was there but it disappeared, I don't see it in my inventory. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,Blue

Hi Blue,

I removed the e-mail address from your post for security reasons, and also merged your two threads for this game. It helps us if you can stay with one thread per game so that we can follow your play. smile

After pulling the lever and seeing the panel with the message "Don't Look Back" - whatever you do, don't turn back around to face the well, as that's what's causing you to die.

Examine the panel on the floor closely, you'll see a handle (at the top of the panel, from memory). Click on that to open it and reveal the puzzle.

DRACULA 3 Path of the Dragon - Tomb Pentagram - I also need a saved game, I tried adjusting my mouse speed, I would sure like to complete the game but I can't get through this frustrating blue light thing! Help, or I too may be buried in that tomb forever smile

Is there some trick to draw the pentagram in the ballroom. I have completed all the other gargoyle shapes, and I have to admit, they weren't perfect . . . but they worked. I must have drawn a dozen pretty decent pentagrams, and none of them are working. Does anyone have the answer?
Thanks,
Blue

Hi Hermes, the save's on the way.

Blue, the trick is to make the inverted pentagram as large as possible, and to draw it in one single, smooth line, without any hesitation or breaks.

Here's how it should look:

luck

I am happy to report that I just finished this game. It was a great game, I haven't played a real adventure game in sometime and it brought me back to the good old days of Myst, Riven and Zork. Lately, I have gradually found myself moving towards more Action Adventure games eg.., Tombraider, Max Payne and it was nice to return to this genre. I did find the gargoyle polys a challenge. There were some that looked awful and worked and others that looked perfect and didn't work. The pentagram you have to do with one unbroken line. Jacob's ladder, and others you can draw the lines separately. I also messed up by lighting all the torches. There is only one torch you have to light. Once I figured that out and "untorched" them the trap door opened. Great game, I'm glad I stayed with it ... Thanks gameboomers for your help.

Glad that you finished and enjoyed the game, Blue. thumbsup

Yes, lighting all the torches is quite often done and has tripped a lot of folk up.
