Can't figure out how to move saved games. There are two games I've already started playing on my old computer that I downloaded and installed from Big Fish. No problem installing the games on the new computer from my order history. But of course, it means starting the game over. Is there a way to transfer the saved versions to my new machine? Thanks.

Note: Old machine was using Windows XP. New machine has Windows 7.

There's really no one way for all games, most place their save games in the install folder, for those that don't try looking in your My Documents folder.

If you have the specific name of your games - maybe someone here can help you locate them (for both operating systems).

In general it's a fairly straight forward process. Copy the saves to a diskette or USB stick, and transfer them to the new PC (under the save location for Vista - which may, or may not be different).

BigFish support is pretty good at responding - you might email them to see if they can provide the locations for you.

Shouldnt be too hard google somit like "the longest journey save games" and u might find location. Generally they will be either in the installed directory or my documents or in c:/users/yourname/application data or somit like that for the odd game that wants to be different.

If you were to clone your hard drive to another computer (not a drive with your operating system tho. Try norton ghost or somit.

Sparkle-

I had the same problem. Big Fish told me to go to download the game, and it would say I already owned it and I downloaded about 25 or more, no problems with them at all.

Thanks to all who responded. I decided to just play through the games I'd already started before disconnecting my old pc. Only took a few hours.
