kdj, Have you been inside the cage and activated the Cage Symbol on the Main Pedestal? If not, since you said the cage is open, enter the cage and go around to the front of the pedestal. Look at the symbol on the pedestal. Put your slate on the pedestal to activate this symbol on the Main Pedestal. Pick up the slate and exit the cage. If you've already activated the Cage Symbol on the Main Pedestal, ignore the above. Either way, return to the Windmill. Have the Bahro summon the wind, then go up to the controls. While the wind is blowing, pull the left lever once and then pull the right lever 3 times. Return to the cage and make sure the back of the pedestal is to the right - that's where the cage's opening is now. You can't enter the cage from the building, so return to the Main Pedestal. Click on the Cage Symbol on the Main Pedestal to link to the inside of the cage. Exit the cage into the water and go forward down the canal to the Arena. Climb the ramp into the Arena. Hope this helps. Jema

You're welcome, Rushes. I hope it helps kdj. I just edited my post and changed "symbol on the cage" to "symbol on the pedestal" in the 1st paragraph. Jema

Hi and thanks!
I did it over... left lever once, right lever 3 times, once without and once with the left red button. Nothing changes.

Hi kdj, When you say you "did it over," do you mean you reloaded a save and this is the 1st time you pulled the right lever in the Windmill so that you can enter the cage from the building? If so, you have to return to the Windmill a 2nd time and rotate the cage so its only opening is now on the right. If this was not your 1st trip to the Windmill, did you make sure the wind was blowing when you pulled the levers? If the wind is not blowing, pulling the levers won't do anything. BTW, I just noticed that what I call the left lever some of the walkthroughs refer to as "big left lever." Also, I don't know how many times you've pushed the left red button so, when you do get into the canal if you encounter a closed gate, you'll have to return to the Windmill and, with the wind blowing, pull the left lever once and push that button once. Another BTW, the Main Pedestal is in the bubble on the beach where you arrived when you linked to Laki'ahn. Good luck. Jema One more thing, after you pull the left lever, let it return to the top before you pull the right lever.

Hi kdj, Yes, there is definitely hope. You said you linked to the cage from the linking bubble so that means you have already activated the cage symbol on the Main Pedestal in the bubble and that's good. That's one thing out of the way. Since you know the wind has to be blowing for the Windmill controls to have any effect, I won't repeat that when I say to pull a lever or push a button. Whether or not you have to lower the cage (pedestal) depends on how high you raised it. If the cage is at eye level, that's where it should be. If it's above eye level, you will have to lower it once. To keep this from becoming confusing, post the answer to that and we'll take it from there. Also, if you can tell where the cage's opening currently is and post that, it would be great. Will check back later today for your reply. Jema

Hi kdj, Sorry I am late here... I have commented a lot on this in the past. This one is a challenge. Here are my summary comments: If you understand the controls, you can solve this.
1. Start the wind (important)
- LEFT lever activates the controls. Hit it once each time after you start the wind.
- SECOND FROM LEFT lever raises the cage. If you raise it too high, hit it again to lower it once. You should only have to pull this once.
- RIGHT lever rotates the cage. If you rotate it too far, hit it again and check again till you have it right. (You should have to pull this one twice to rotate the cage properly)
- LEFT button opens the triangular doors to the Arena. You can see them open thru the wind and dust from the windmill controls (upper left of the screen).
- RIGHT button does nothing. Leave it alone.
Go back and forth from the windmill controls to the cage... if it isn't right (now that you know what does what) go back, start the wind, activate the controls and move something to get it right. The cage can only be rotated four directions. Try each one. You can see the triangular door open, so open it and leave that button alone.
Good luck!Hope this helps! Dadguy

Hi kdj, Glad you got past the gate. Where you are now it sounds like the counterweight hasn't been set correctly. If it is, when you link in to the pillar (platform), the pillar will slowly descend and automatically stop on the 2nd level. Did you determine that the pillar without you and your slate weighs 9? Did you determine that you and your slate weigh 7? This means that the counterweight must be set to 16 (9 + 7). Go to the control stations with the gray buttons. Make sure all the "eyes" are closed by pressing the necessary gray buttons. This is so you start fresh. Then, at the control stations, from left to right press buttons: 1 twice, 2 twice, and 3 once. That gives you (2 x 4) + (2 x 3) + (1 x 2) = 16. Press the golden button and the pillar will rise to the 3rd level. Go down the ramp into the water and back to the cage. Click on the slate symbol on the Pedestal to link to the Main Pedestal in the linking bubble. Click on the symbol for the Arena Pedestal (circle over rectangle without bottom line) to link to it. (I'm assuming you have already activated that symbol on the Main Pedestal. Be sure you have your slate.) When you appear on the pillar it will begin to slowly lower. When it stops, turn around and step onto the footbridge. Cross the footbridge and go R to a short tunnel cut into the amphitheater. Hope this helps. Jema

Or, she could be referring to the puzzle with where you call the bahro to stand on the plate long enough that you can jump off the elevator ride up at the top. Let us know which one you are stuck at KDJ. The former has been well described by Jema... The latter one has been buggy for me at times. I hope you haven't the same problem. Cheers, Dadguy

Hi dadguy, I'm pretty sure now, after reading yours and kdj's last posts, that I misunderstood where he/she is. When I read his/her statement, "It seems to go down without even stopping a second!", I assumed (which I shouldn't have) kdj was at the pillar counterweight puzzle. Sorry, kdj, that I had you unnecessarily repeat some steps. BTW, when you set the gray buttons to 16, that was setting the counterweight for the pillar puzzle. Jema
