I installed one of the games-Physicus-the installer prompted me to install quicktime 6.5 which I did but when I tried to play it, got error mssg:
"Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and needs to close"
error signature
AppName:Physicus.exe
AppVer 10.1.1.11 ModName quicktime.qts

I've sent a mssg to Viva Media, but nothing yet.
Has anyone else encountered this type of prob? Would appreciate any help thanks

Did you already have a newer version of QuickTime installed before installing the game? If you install an older version over a newer one, it can produce that "has-encountered-a-problem" type error.

What version of Windows are you using?
QuickTime 6.5 dates back to 2005 and my not work with your version of Windows if you have a 64-bit type.

Hello Jenny-
Thanks for responding-I do have latest ver. of QT and that seems to be OK. I use WIN XP home ed.
Should I un-install the newer version so I can play the game?

Yes, if the game doesn't run with the newer version, you'll have to uninstall it and use the version that came with the game. The older version probably didn't install if it detected a newer version.

Jenny, thanks again for the help-
I did hear from Viva Media- they suggested updating Adobe Flash Player-I did that plus latest Quicktime and....Yippee the game works! (It dosn't really need version 6.5)
