Hi!
I'm playing Myst V and my mouse is overshooting the areas I'm trying to get to. I did go to options and did choose Classic Mode. I did go into my computer and adjust the mouse there. It is set at medium for now.

If the mouse is sluggish, go into the game options and see if there's anything you can turn down or turn off, such as antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, animations, lighting effects, etc. You might also try a lower resolution.
