This is a game I wrote and designed, so I have a vested interest in how well it does. However, I know that you like to be kept informed of new games and this one has just been released on Big Fish:

Special Enquiry Detail: The Hand that Feeds

I'd be very interested in knowing what the players here think of the game, even if you only play the free first hour.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Steve.

I tried your game and I like it. I will be buying it but a few things first said. The music is really nice and graphics are great. But some items are small and some are misnamed, such as jaws instead of false teeth. I only palyed the demo but did enjoy it.

Hi Carla,

I'm glad you liked it. Sorry about the misnaming - the actual hidden object aspect is something the Floodlight Games guys took care and I wasn't aware of such problems. I'll pass it on.

this game totally scrambled my computer - twice

after I downloaded the demo and started it up, at the start screen, it froze. After a cold boot, my screen was set to such a low resolution that I couldn't do anything. It took me about twenty minutes to get back to where I could use it again

I uninstalled the game and tried it again. My stubborn streak wouldn't let me leave it alone. Same thing again. So I've uninstalled it now and won't be trying it again

anyone else have a similar problem?

Eek! That sounds awful. I've sent your feedback to the developer.

Steve, I tried this and bought it. I like the story. It's interesting. Puzzles are good. I'm on the fourth chapter and I haven't had any problems with the game at all.

No problems getting it to run (I'm using Win 7, 64 bit). I'm suspecting everybody of the crime at this point! Reminds me a little of Law & Order.

I bought it. grin

Gail, I'm glad you like the story. I think it fits well with this type of game.

Becky, I actually wanted it to have a feel that was reminiscent of Law and Order and CSI, so I've partially succeeded in that. smile

Hi, Steve!

I just finished playing the demo and I really enjoyed the storyline. My only complaint is that some of the objects are extremely difficult to spot, but the hints refill quickly, so I can live with that. Since BFG is having a Memorial Weekend sale, I'll probably wait until then to buy it along with a few others on my list.

I have the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium and it played flawlessly on my computer.

Congrats!

Susan

Hi Steve smile

I'm not having any problems at all.......I have Windows 7 (64 bit). I'm enjoying the story, Law and Order came to mind immediately LOL. This is a buy for me!

It looks like a very nice game but I don't have a full screen... just a small square and with tiny things to find... impossible. I tried clicking full screen and wide screen.... didn't get bigger. I have Vista.

Susan, Carol, I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

NYLady, your problem sounds very strange. I have Vista on my computer but have no problem like that. Could it be the native resolution of your monitor? Do you have any problems with other games?

No I don't... this is a first. When the game first opened.. I thought: uh oh! I had about 4 inches of black on the left side and the picture was off center like. Then it straightened out but was a small screen. I have a large screen monitor because I have eye problems and the small screen is just too small for me to see to find things. Every other game on here opens to a full screen.

I went to options and FULL SCREEN was already checked so I clicked WIDE SCREEN and it didn't do anything different.

I'm always disappointed when I can't at least play a demo because it might be a game I'd love.

I know how hard you guys work to make a game and how difficult it must be to "fit" with everyone's systems...

Sorry that this game happens to be the one you've had problems with. I don't have anything to do with the technical side of the game so I don't know how to help you. I'll let you know if they tell me of a solution.
