I guess this is a glitch and it is sort of weird. I'm at the place where I need to "use the rope with bow on the wood beam on the other side" in order to catch a frog. In the inventory I have the bow with rope and a sticky tray, BUT when I click the bow on the wood beam and swing to the other side when I go to the inventory for the sticky tray it is MISSING. No sticky tray so I can't get the frog. So I'm stuck. (This is on page 17 of MaG's walktrough, which has been a great help or I never would have made it this far!, so about halfway through the game.)

Thee are "Up" and "Down" arrows on the inventory screen (on the left hand side) - maybe it just hidden.

I don't think so, the space where it was and should be is there, just empty. The scroll arrows are for when the inventory is full and I use them when necessary. Unless you mean it is hidden for some strange reason, or part of the glitch or bug or whatever this is?
I did wonder if my SAVE had anything to do with it since that is where I stopped last night, just before doing the rope thing. But when I LOAD the game and I have gone back and done so several times, the sticky tray is right there, but then it is gone just when I need it. I tried taking it before I throw the rope with bow and Sadwick takes it but I can't get him to do anything with it at that time. So, does it drop out of his pocket when he swings with the rope?
Thanks, InlandAZ, for taking the time to help, I'm going to try the arrows now, just in case it is something weird like that. Can't hurt anyway.

I tried the UP arrow and it worked just perfectly, what a surprise! There was the sticky tray way up at the top of the inventory! Thanks, thanks, thanks, InlandAZ. You are a genius!

Not half as glad as I am! I'm still flying high that it worked. Never, never in a million years would I have tried the arrow, such a thought never entered my head. It didn't make sense to me, especially considering the fact it was visisble in the inventory BEFORE I used the rope! On the other hand, where does it say that an adventure game has to make sense? Silly me!
