That sounds to me like a bad disc, not a video or sound driver problem. Do you have plenty of free space on your C: drive?

But if you want to update your video drivers, go here
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

(unless you have a laptop, in which case go to the website of your computer's brand name or get tweaked drivers at http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ )

For the sound, you need to go to the site of the computer's brand name. If it's a "custom" computer, go to the website of the motherboard's brand name.

Hi Jenny, I think it is a bad disk also but this individual didn't think so!I have plenty of space on my C: drive!I tried numerous times to install the game but no luck!Everything else runs fine on my PC!I am going to hold off on the updates and try again with ubisoft to resolve this problem! Thanks for your help!

You can check the disc by copying the files and folders on the disc to a folder on your hard drive. If they won't all copy, the disc has an unreadable part or parts.

I guess the disc you burned is easier to read than the original. If a disc is hard to read, it will take longer to read -- and if your install times out while reading the disc, you'll get some sort of error message (e.g. -- "file missing or damaged" or cyclic redundancy check error). But if a game uses a disc check, you'll probably still need the original disc in the drive.
