I am in the dream sequence right after the Mess Hall. I moved the chest and put the can of soup on the shelf. The room did not change and I don't see the egg.
Anyone know what I might have missed to trigger this?

Hm, two things that I remember:
Move the barrel in the left corner over to the other one in the right. Take the bottle and break it on the floor, in front of the table.
There might be more.

Downloaded the patch and now the mouse wants to freeze up. If I hit esc. then it will start up most of the time and I can get back into the game.
