It has a timer, and you will run out of time, the items are so small you will be looking for dots.
I thought this might have been a decent game, but it is atrocious for smal tiny objects that you will never find even if you know what they look like.

But don't take my word for it, try it and see for yourself let me know if your experience is any different.

I have to agree. I tried it on hard mode and there is no way you can complete it on the first try. What a shame! frown Maybe they give you more time in normal mode cool

Who makes this game? No one puts timers in anymore. I won't even try it. I enjoy playing leisurely.

Isn't the easy mode untimed?

I haven't downloaded this game, but I will say that this game's feedback on the Big Fish forums, thus far, has the most negative response of any new release that I can ever remember.

Since I love the Wizard Of Oz I had to try this!

If you play on easy mode there is no timer.

However, I agree that the objects are tiny and sometimes you can't tell what they are even when you use the hint to get it!

I pass on this one, it just wasn't fun for me.

On the bright side, that leaves me with a credit for the next game! grin

It's great that there is no timer in easy mode, but I doubt that most of us use easy mode. We like a bit of a challenge...Right smile

Hi, Flo!

"The Wizard of Oz" is one of my all-time favorite movies. I have seen it every time it's aired on TV and purchased the video several years ago.

I was really looking forward to playing the game but am extremely disappointed and won't be buying it. Even in "easy" mode, the objects are difficult to find, and stuffing a scarecrow is not my idea of a mini-game. I was almost relieved when the timer ran out on the demo.

...What they all said. I really wanted this one, but the items are microscopic! And even though I set the Music to very very low, it was still blaring in the game. Sad to say, but no sale here either. And yup, I always play on easy mode first and then harder ones if I play again. Makes it oh so much funnnerrrr.

I'm with you guys. Casual games should be easy on the eyes and fun. If I want to strain what's left of my little grey cells, I play adventure games. <g>

Well, I never thought I'd meet a HOG that I didn't like. I didn't even make it through the hour trial of the game. Personally, I like to play these games on Normal or Hard because the Easy mode is usually over in just a few hours. I like a bit of a challenge. But the objects in this one are nearly impossible to find. I wasn't so concerned that they were small, just that they were completely unidentifiable even after using the hint. The screens with "match the shape" were especially difficult as the shape often didn't resemble anything you could put a name to. It would have helped to be able to mouse over the shape and have the name of the item show up. In the screen where you had to find food and animals, I found the objects were not hidden, but rather blended in with the background so as to be virtually invisible. Again the hint would show me where it was, but even then I could not make out anything. I found myself randomly clicking on anything and occasionally getting lucky.

I'd have to call the game an IOG - Invisible Object Game. Definitely a pass on this one...

I agree some of the objects are very tiny but others are clearly identifiable. I love the fact there is voice over. Graphics are pretty. I haven't made up my mind yet whether to buy it because I like more interactivity. Hogs with lists are boring to me now. I need more adventure interactivity in a game. fast refill of hint

I played Easy Mode and it wasn't timed, but I couldn't see items to be found in some scenes. I won't be buying. Teddo

It is definitely a very pretty game visually and I didn't mind the voice over. The music was nice too after I turned it down a bit. Actually, I wouldn't have minded the timed part either if there would have been adequate time. One of the Mystery Case Files games is timed, but the time given is very generous. I got so excited when some of the objects were quite visible like Sherryah says, but then the rest would be, well... invisible. I want my hidden objects to be a challenge, not an exercise in frustration.

I feel kind of bad for the game developers because they obviously spent a lot of time and effort on a very nice game otherwise.

This would have worked out better if they provided one of the 'in game' magnifying glasses like some of the HOGs have. I did like the music and voices though, and the game was very colorful. Too bad things were so tiny. I wanted to see how the story progressed. I made it past the first find the object screen like Drac did (by randomly clicking) and then gave up.

Oh! I am so disappointed in this game!I was really looking forward to playing this one! What could have been a fun game is a real bummer. Why oh why did they make the items so microscopic? The fun ran out quickly for me before the first hidden object scene was completed. I had to use the hint button/wand to find 90% of the items! I bought the game before testing it and that was a huge mistake! I will try to go on without pulling my hair out and forgetting it altogether. Hopefully the scenes will improve as I go on. It would be nice if the developers would remaster it and offer it again.

Hi, Penny Lane!

I think you're the only one who has purchased the game so far, so maybe you can tell us if it gets any better. I uninstalled it before I finished the demo because it was such a huge disappointment.
