Solved the rune puzzle in The Count, but I'm still unable to kill (?) the vampire. The notes in the study say I should make a garlic necklace. Any idea where I can find garlic, or whatever it is that's lacking?
Thanks.

Hi HandsFree,

You'll need to go back to Fuzzieville and search the garden. luck

You blew up Fuzzieville already? I haven't played this game yet, I'm looking at the companion guide. I'm not familiar with the nuances. Are you maybe able to dispose of the vampire with just the wooden stake? Otherwise let's wait for help and if there's another way of getting some garlic.

Yes, I blew up Fuzzieville already. Does this game have dead ends? It won't be too much trouble to replay from an earlier save, but it's interesting to know if there's another way.

Edit: Well you can count on me to find a dead end when there is one. whistle
I replayed to get the garlic and happily moved on to hell where I now have been stuck for days.
I can't get the symbol for orange right (or green, but there are hints for that one in another thread).
Orange should be red+yellow but yellow is unknown. I thought yellow could be found since green and blue are given (blue+yellow=green) in wich case yellow should be a cross in the middle of the grid. However, that doesn't work and I tried every other combination I could think of.
Any suggestions to get me back on track?
Thanks

Is it OK to bump this? I think my edit may have gone unnoticed. smile

Sorry we missed your edit. smile It's fine to stack a post if it's been approx 24 hrs or more since your last -- otherwise the thread drops off the front page of the forum and we tend not to see it.

You should have picked up the symbol for yellow somewhere along your travels. The companion guide doesn't seem to specify exactly where.

Here's the coding for yellow:

Click to reveal..

Code:
. . . . Y
. . . Y .
Y Y . Y .
. . Y . .
. . . . .

Hope that helps!

Finished. yes
I didn't even look for the yellow symbol because I was convinced it should be the difference between blue and green. But now I found it in-game too.
Great game!
