Hi:
Just started this game recently on my laptop. Seems there is a slightly longer pause between scenes than usual in a game. Also, it takes, it seems like forever to get the game to play after I click on the icon on my desktop.
Is there some way I can "speed up" the game a pinch?
Look forward to hearing from you!

El

Since you have a laptop, make sure it's plugged in when you play games on it. Also make sure it's set to "performance" and not "power saving" when it's plugged in.

Most games take longer than they should to start up because of the copy "protection" check. But even without a disc check, the game has to load into memory (RAM) before running. Delays between scenes take longer when the computer's processor is slow. If your laptop is set to "power saving" the processor will downclock and run slower.
