Could I please have a saved game for just after the crate is lifted from blocking the shed door? It's very near the beginning of the game. I guess my mouse isn't happy with this type of gaming movement because I pull up and down as many as 30 or 40 times and the lever only just wiggles. And, when a miracle occurs and the lever does start to turn, my cursor disappears entirely so I am unable to do the rotation. It takes me a while, too, to move the window panels and move that rock. So, it must be a problem at my end. Hopefully, this type of movement won't be so prevalent that I will have to stop playing the game.
Anyway, if someone could send me a save I'd really, really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Barb, I've had a search but haven't been able to source any individual saves for this game. Here's a tip which has worked very well for others having a similar problem at this point: Click - hold - pull down the handle until the cursor is off the page - do this 3 times as fast as you can. No need to check what happens - just do it 3 times fast. If you're having general technical problems with the game, though, this might not work. Worth a try, though!

The saves shouldn't be in the program folder - there should be a separate save games folder in My Documents, did you check there? I hope the tip I posted earlier works for you!

Those aren't the save files, they're data files of some kind. Saves for this game always begin with the word "save" and then the number. I'm thinking perhaps your save folder has been hidden -- it happens with some games on some OS. Try this:
Open your Documents folder. From the top toolbar, select "Tools". Select "Folder Options", then "View". You may then need to scroll down a little until you see "Hidden files and folders". Be sure that the box for "Show hidden files & folders" is checked. Confirm and exit out. Then try searching for the save folder again.
